Posts
This went from 'just' a big dissapointment to almost every major and nonmajor gaming site is talking about it.

More upset about this tbh :( Capcom >:(
Wow. Though I've never played the Legends sub-series, I was highly anticipating this release, and it was cancelled for... Wait WHY was this cancelled again? Capcom didn't think it would sell?
This is bullshit.

This ^^
They must have thought Hello Kitty fighting games would sell more. How very sad. But Though I have never played Megaman before, I am sure it would sell a lot more than some Hello Kitty fighting game.
With this canceled I'm hoping they can get back to the ZX-series which I am somewhat fond of. It is the main storyline after all. I've heard that Legends is obscurely part of it as well somehow but I refuse to accept that.
Too bad it's money that's controlling all this shit, so nothing can be for certain.

This. A million times.
author=ZephyrAs a business, the primary goal IS to make money. The Megaman series was pretty much started so that it could make Capcom money, and if they think that a game would not sell, well... Shit.

The strange thing about this is that with the HUGE fanbase behind MML3 I wonder what made Capcom's marketing team think it wouldn't sell? While I feel your comment is a "no duh", it doesn't mean this isn't bull.
IGN has an interesting thought on this cancellation, being that Capcom is trying to "kill" the megaman franchise since the creator left (and not under the greatest terms either).
It sounds stupid, seeing as how Megaman titles are normally a huge money maker for Capcom... but maybe they have some really spiteful pricks working at the top atm?
