Can we have an option to hide our email address please or at least make it spam proof; make it unsearchable using brackets or something?

Yea, I have been getting spam a lot more recently. Not sure if that would affect it much or not, but dang.
I only have my email address out to 2 websites. RMN and RPGRPG.

Hmm and can we still get the rare but important email distributions regarding RMN from WIP and co here? You can't remove it as it's a mandatory field although I have changed it to a fake one. Can't be that hard to hide it, every other site offers me this option.

Wait, which email are we talking about? Maybe I am missing something but the only publicly displayed emails are for things like MSN and AIM.

you do need an email to register to RMN, but for as far as I know, it is only used internally for reseting your password, if you lost it.

Your e-mail address is not displayed anywhere on the site. Any spam you are getting is not coming from us.

EDIT: Unless you fill out one of the AIM/MSN fields and use your e-mail address...is this how MSN really works? I don't use it so I have no idea...

I know you wouldn't send us spam. My problems come from teh land of RPGRPG.

MSN and Yahoo! Messenger both use email addresses as account names, so yes.

You're right, I didn't read the bit to the left, it was part of my MSN contact. I've removed it now and changed the hidden one back to what it was. I only saw it when I googled my e-mail address after getting a few unsolicited e-mails and RMN popped up (not blaming this on RMN in any way, just a precaution). Thanks for the heads up.
