SPACE IN MAPS 2.0:MY NEWEST GAME STYLE

Yume Nikki highly depends on its symbolism and interpretation and to be honest, the fanbase for it is pretty much like a "cult" in some way or those into art games.
Even tho Yume Nikki looks big and empty, the author was trying to tell a message in dreams that seemingly go on forever etc. and blah blah symbolism here and there. I wouldn't really recommend it if you're really trying to learn how to make a game. Study SNES maps or something! You'll get better by referencing from the classics.

Yeah thing is Yume Nikki is literally a dream diary, not exactly a "game" in its truest intents. I'm surprised discussion about YN doesn't crop up here in RMN because it's one of those games that people actually care about outside the RM communities.
