If one must be a villain from the Final Fantasy series, one might as well be Kefka. I mean, he actually manages to ruin, and rule, the world. Unlike every video game villain ever, I might add.

And he managed to become a god. I love that insane crazy psychopathic clown jester guy.

Sephiroth is basically a rip off of Kefka, I might add. They also say Sephiroth is one of the easiest final bosses in the entire FF series.
Kefka and Sephiroth are only really marginally similar. And the only other easiest final FF boss than Sephiroth is Kefka. Both FFVII and FFVI are pretty easy games.

Not sure if you're counting Kefka only, or the tower of monsters that lead to him and Kefka. Cause he is much harder than Sephiroth as a whole. If you like do everything and max each character out on both, obviously they both are easy.

Plus, they may speak and act differently, but they obviously based Sephiroth off of Kefka. By looks, and trying to destroy everything. It is small similarities, but similarities nonetheless.

Looks such as the 'Angel concept'.
LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

I feel like I should answer Locke. Because, you know, that's my damn screen name.

...Actually, though, it depends on how the question was meant.

If it was meant as "Which FF character is most like you?" then I'm going to go with Balthier, because he is charming and wisecracking and is constantly getting in trouble. He's a lot like Locke, but more witty and snarky, and less romantic. And also I love Balthier's fashion taste and need some clothes like that.

If it was meant as "Which FF character do you think it would be the most fun to be?" then I'm going to go with Quina, because I think spending all my time eating everything in sight with no negative consequences would be a hell of a fun way to live. Om nom nom. I can't do that as a human! Well I could, but I would gain 800 pounds in a year and then die.

The 'final boss angel' look yeah, that is similar. And that's about it as far as looks go! They do share a number of similarities in terms of say, they're both 'super soldiers used by antagonistic society' thing, but in terms of their execution and motives, they're far different.

As far as the difficulty is concerned, yeah, like I said, Sephiroth is indeed easier than Kefka. But Kefka ain't far behind at all. Assuming an 'average' playthrough where you don't turn your characters into walking death tanks, Kefka isn't harder than Zeromus, Chaos, ExDeath, Ultimecia, Necron, or pretty much any other final boss except for Braska's Final Aeon, and even that is a maybe.

Kefka and Sephiroth are the easiest final bosses of FF. Nothing against them though, because FFVII and FFVI are great games.

Ultimecia or whatever her name is, is as hard as crap. D:

Man I would put Exdeath and Jecht at the top of my list of easiest FF final bosses. Jecht was so easy I didn't realize he was the final boss, while Exdeath died in like 15 seconds because that game has so many millions of ways to become invincible.

I'll grant Kefka and Sephy are probably easier than Ultimecia, Zeromus, and whatever the final boss of FF9's name was. Maybe Vayne also.

And yeah Kefka is practically a carbon copy of the Joker, in almost every way except profession. He cackles madly and blows the entire planet up sheerly for the fun of it and dresses like a clown. Sephy meanwhile is a depressed emo poetry-writing loner who thinks the world has abandoned him, and decides to start treating a headless alien like his mommy after he finds out he was right. In contrast to Kefka, he sacrifices people because he sees them as insects and himself as destined for godhood. They also look absolutely nothing alike, except that in the final battles they both take off their shirts and grow wings for absolutely no reason at all.
while Exdeath died in like 15 seconds because that game has so many millions of ways to become invincible.

Keep in mind I said "Assuming an 'average' playthrough where you don't turn your characters into walking death tanks".

Sephy meanwhile is a depressed emo poetry-writing loner

That isn't true of Sephiroth's character/motivations.

Don't destroy my dreams
Isn't Kefka pretty 1 dimensional? Writing wise, Seph had a lot more going on than just "im evil... whatever hear my maniacal laughter" I like Kefka's design and mannerisms but just because a character has feelings and motives doesn't really make him "emo".
Sephiroth was quite the opposite actually, confident, arrogant, had an indomitable will (according to the writers, this is his strongest trait), and cold. Cloud even directly confronts him on the issue of being 'emo' and Sephiroth replies "Sad? What do I have to be sad about?"

I always love the type of villain that kills for the sake of killing. Because then it is hard to find an emotional weak-point in their character, because they are only doing it because they can. Not because of an actual point involved. Not because people hate them. Not because they are being treated differently, in a way that could shun them. Only because they "can".

It is just fun that way. Not all of the time. But some of the time, it is fun to have that type of person in a game.
the easiest way to kill sephiroth is to use about 2 hero drinks (which you get throughout the game) then use tiffa's limit break, it kills sephiroth in one hit without trying just make sure you get yeah yeah yeah...
ohhh... and I'd be vincent
just cos he's so cool...

Hey, I never said I don't like Final Fantasy, guys. Notably IRC killed any proper fangirl feelings for the series because you guys tend to do that with everything. In regards to the additional areas and what not, Final Fantasy VIII and Final Fantasy IX are the only ones without sequels or prequels. Regarding new areas, I was less talking about VII and more talking about X-2, such as the additional areas in Besaid and the Bevelle Underground.

I can't answer the question of 'which FF character would I be' because I don't really want to be any of them. Their suffering is generally what creates the plot and quite frankly I don't want to have to go through being experimented on or being told I'm meant to destroy the world, or I'm a dream. I don't care if they seem 'cool' or anything. Every character tends to have suffered in some way and I don't want to wish that upon myself. Yes, I can relate to some of them, but that's a different point entirely.

Odd that this is coming from a cosplayer, but I don't cosplay because I want to 'be' them in their entirity. Being them for a day is fine and whatnot- because you know when you take off the costume you're yourself again. But 'being' them is a different issue.

[Regarding who I am like- I have some of Squall's traits, but I tend to be a bit more driven and I have a clear dream. I'm also a bit more outwardly appreciative of those around me, but I do share the same reservations regarding getting too close and the fear of losing everyone around me. I also tend to be a lot more expressive.]

I, II, III, V, VI, don't have sequels or prequels either! Unless you count that low budget under the radar V movie or whatever.
