RMN4 IS HERE!
Posts
I have been coming to RMN for a very long time even before I was a member and I enjoyed the site and the hospitality and I am pleased with the new look its nice to see the site and the community grow over the years and I really appreciate those who contributed to keeping the community together. Thank you :)
Holy goddamn.
That is all.
edit: I lied, since holb was confused on IRC. This is awesome, guys, good work.
Okay, NOW that is all.

Very nice. Its so awesome that there's a script section. Thats where I excel. I've already submitted several scripts, some are still pending. :3
I don't know if it's just me or if it's only happening in Firefox (using 6.0.2), but there are a couple of places where text overlaps other frames. Here, I'll show you what I mean:

and

Not really a fan of the white background and I wish there was some sort of graphical separator between the various sections (seems kind of unpolished at the moment). Also, I can't click on the Feature Game, Feature Review, 2011 Summer Games, and Award Nominations tabs.. well, I mean I can click on them but nothing happens. Unless it's just a mouseover that changes the image.. if that's the case would you consider making the tab a link as well, same with the corresponding image that changes? Seems kind of weird how only the text bar between the tab and the image links to the actual item in question at the moment.
On a positive note I really like the look of the "Recently Added Games, Recently Completed Games, Featured Game Archive, and Highest Rated Games" links. I just wish the other sections of the front page were done in this way.

This is something more for the RMN4 bugs topic, Mateui, but what version of Firefox are you using? I just checked it on all 4 browsers on my PC (Opera, Chrome, IE, Firefox) and didn't get any of the problems you described.
author=kentonaauthor=Adon237here is what it looks like in Chrome, on XP:
In Chrome, it looks nothing like that.
Just glancing at the image; that's what it looks like for me (also Chrome on XP).
Worth noting that a hard refresh (ctrl + R) fixed every issue I've found os far.
I had some doubts about some of the new features before launch, but this is quite amazing overall. Great job to all who helped make RMN4!
Oh sweet merciful...
I go away for a week, and THIS is what I come back to! Wow. I love the new layout the site's got! I've yet to actually take a deeper look into things however, because my internet usage is very limited. Good job, folks!

I have to criticize that I can't see nearly anything from my background in the game profile because the new RMN banner is hiding a lot of my background :-/
Whilst I was a big fan of the old look, I'm loving the new one too! One thing, if I can suggest, is to do something about the screenshots. They're really small.
Maybe something like a slideshow - where you have them automatically switch to the next screen after a few seconds delay? That way you could have them be easier to see, but still present. It'd look a lot better just having two larger slideshows than ten or so tiny pictures, right?
Just a thought.
Otherwise, the site is pimpin'! Great job guys!
