To use I don't know, but as graphics go, I don't like either, though xp certainly better tnan vx.
In graphics XP rules, but otherwise, certainly VX is superior.

I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

Adon says something smart for a change. It's true: XP has far better mapping capabilities, since it has three layers and infinite tiles. VX is a little easier to use overall, has some features built in that you have to add via scripts in XP, and has somewhat simpler tools for scripting compared to XP.
But like I've said in some of the other VX vs. XP topics, none of that really matters. The most important difference between the two programs, by far, is what scripts other people have already written for each of them. You need to figure out what features your game will need, and find out whether scripts that offer those features are available in XP, or VX, or both. Even if you are capable of scripting things yourself, this will save you far more headache than any other difference between the two programs.

Trying to meet my posts up to RMN(Calunio's) standards. Anyway,
I use XP with a map capturing script to make maps for my VX game, and for me, that makes VX my perfect engine. Though, if I was forced to, I would happily make a game in VX.
Given they didn't ask if both are shit, they asked what is better, I suggest you stick to trolling on Welp, than on places meant for usefulness.
XP is far superior in graphics, by the default standard. By custom ones, they both pretty much are the same. It depends on scripts, Art, and over all time used in the programs.

On another note these topics arn't very useful as we have been discussing this non important issue for years and they do tend to end up going in circles.

It would be nice if one of the topics with a lot of useful responses were stickied.

Well thank's anyway for the answer, and all other answers (that were kind of that) were also awsome to know, thank you !.
