CloseOk, I found one other post about this game, and all people sad was to refer to its game page. As far as I know, it was taken down moths ago. Luckily, I downloaded it before it went down. Does anyone know who made this game and/or what happened to them? It is a REALLY good game; quirky as hell, but a fantastic play. The main reason I want to know who made it is to see if they would put it back up here, and, if not, would I be allowed to post it?

I don't remember who made the game, but I do remember what happened to it. Someone posted a review that criticized the game and the creator threw a fit and soon enough toke the game down.
ok, the name is Krayg_Alynn I think, He's on Starless Umbra's site, his game is, in the "Fire God Saga" topic in "miscellaneous", I also think it's one of the most elaborated and fun gameplay I've seen, a real treat. He gives a little bit of his version of what happened here, anyways, you should be able to contact him there..

People criticized and trolled me about my Mega Man game but, as you can see, it's still here. 8/

All I found was "I was banned from RPGmaker.net because I kept it real".
Anyway, it was fun, except that I managed to trigger a game-breaking bug nobody else seem to have come across. I was considering starting over from scratch, but the author taking it down discouraged me. It's a pity he was oversensitive, the game is definitely worth a try.
It really is; yes, I know it's hardly anything as comments go, I was thinking maybe you could contact him, he seems to have disappeared from the net today, as far as I looked (I remember him mentioning he was homeless). Anyways, I was surprised not much anybody seemed to see (however pleasant or not the creator) the exceptionally well conceived bosses and fun of the gameplay overall.
Wow... I wish I could have seen the criticism. I have had nothing but fun (and the typical frustration of playing a good game) while traversing this game. Anyway, thanks guys. I think I'll try to get in touch with him. Maybe I could revive this game on RMN? Granted, I am not really familiar with the rules on posting games, but I'm sure I could read up on it so I don't cause trouble. Thanks again!

I agree with the sentiment in this topic, the game wasn't that bad. That doesn't make the fact that kraig_alynn imploded and took the game off any less shameful.
I even posted a review for that game (which no one right now can see because of the gameprofile being taken down, bummer).
Now that I think of it, I hope the author is feeling better now!

I haven't tested it since I already have the game, but hopefully it downloads and unzips fine. If I recall correctly you need the RTP files for it to work, but that shouldn't be a problem for most people.
I'm still waiting to hear back to see if he'd be willing to try and repost it here (again if that doesn't kick up too much crap over here).

There is something unpleasant about it, doubtless, which is a pain; but there's also excellent gameplay. Both. Should it be entirely rejected? It's actually a real question, for me, that I have not solved yet! I just don't want to deny one thing because of the other. If you're going to reject it then let it be for the good reason, but saying this is a badly made game is dishonest and absurd, saying this is an (entirely) healthy game equally.
I had to check, but yeah, Krayg was banned (and still is!), but I think Krayg rejoined under a different account a couple of months ago.

Anyway, now that I probably thoroughly annoyed the powers that be here at RMN (not my intent) and since I can't seem to find a guide for this game... wait, is it kosher to ask for help on the forum about a game if the game page no longer exists? I know asking on the game page would be the right way to go, but that isn't an option right now.
Again, I didn't mean to kick up an old crazy topic; I have a knack of inadvertently kicking bees' nests. And to be clear about how I feel, this game isn't a godsend, but it has taken up quite a bit of my free time over the past couple weeks. Call me a mutant, but I enjoy this games and those similar to it. I think the varied upgrading of weapons and items is what got me (again, I'm a collectathon weirdo).

Are you upset that I judge games based on what others judge it to be like? If it helps, yours and chanas and rabitz viewpoints have influenced my own about the game.
And yes, it's fine to ask help for a game that doesn't have a profile here. A lot of people do it, and many others are usually more than willing to help!
