Apple has lost a visionary a creative genius, and the world has lost an amazing human being.
Those of us who were fortunate to know and work with Steve lost a dear friend and an inspiring mentor. Steve leaves behind a company only he could have built, and his spirit will forever be the foundation of Apple.
RIP Steve Jobs.

wtf. Did he die?
That... Kinda sucks!
He wasn't retired for long. I thought he'd... you know... live for a while at least after resigning. Shit.

This guy was a pioneer, really is sad to see him go.
RIP Steve, and yeah, thanks for all the computers and tech!
It's been worthwhile.

He'll be missed, I loved the macbook air, the current generation is more than enough for video editing and game programming. It's certainly what a netbook should be, like get rid of the junk just pure computing.
Regardless of who you are, the mere fact that you're posting on this forum, Steve Jobs has in some way impacted your life. I was never really a fan of Apple but the documentary Welcome to Macintosh really gave me a lot of respect for this guy. The IT world is definitely at a loss without him.

"Steve Jobs brought us the biggest and best tools of our generation."
"Yeah, apple fanboys."
At least he didn't pass away in 2008 with the rest of the jobs!
</tastelesshumor>
In all seriousness, he contributed a lot great things to technology, regardless of what else you may say about the man.
Not that I liked Wikileaks or Assange to begin with, I still thought they'd have more class than that. Oh well.
RIP, Steve Jobs. Your influence on society has been astronomical by any interpretation.
