One of my first dabblings into Industrial Rock type music.

So I listened to this and holy shit man you have gone soo Hollywood it isn't even funny. Good job overall I guess but I liked your catchy, jazz, RPG music a lot more. Really this is good music though. I'm surprised that you stayed within one key area all the time because usually you are all about HEY GUYS WE NEED JAZZ CHORDS (which is fine by me). But don't take this the wrong way because we're splitting hairs between I like this and I really liked your other music a lot.

Sounds like you got a decent sampler too. What are you using in this? I remember a year or two ago you were pretty down about not having a decent sampler.

So A+ will buy again.

ALSO I AM STEALING IT AND PUTTING IT INTO MY GAME

Actually if you analyze it harmonically, ascending minor 3rds are the name of the game. I go from F#-A-C-D#-back to F#. And actually this is the same sampler I've always had, this genre is just more suited for it.

Well, I was told to come searching for you in a response to one of my request topics. So I did, and I gave a listen to a sample of your music. It is great! The way it sounds...just had that odd feeling to it. Like an epic, yet dark, tone. I'm not really that good at describing things like that, so I will just say that it was good. Very good, actually.

This is major Blockbuster Movie Music. Not that there is anything wrong with that, it's neat that you have well schooled in that style and understand it's in and outs. I'm feeling more and more detached from composing Game Music since I became more interested in jazz and contemporary music, however, I prefer soundtracks that are more contemporary. For instance, most of my Channel Changer tracks were "jazzy" (I hate that word to describe something, but at that time I guess I was going for that).

Anyway, good stuff!

Good stuff, Harmonic. A bread and butter formula that is kept interesting through its progression, and never gets to the point of boring, which is respectable for a song of this length. It does sound cinematic, but I don't think it's a huge stretch from a video game tune. When the song started, up until the percussion is thrown in, I was imagining a Sakuraba-esque musical atmosphere.
