CloseAnyone have these backgrounds or projects/maps of his? I wanted to look at them again but I don't seem to have any of them. Please post if you have any!
JPC was a mapper who excelled at the art. Like really excelled.
I found this topic, Ocean. Don't use the link provided - it rerouted me to some non-exity site. Just check out Neophyte's locker. It's still in there. I think that's just the forest competition map, though. You might also check out some of the old, old screenshot threads on Saltw (GW).

I do remember that there was some awesome town shots once apon a time. I'm currently trolling through the archives of SW/GW in search for something else but I'll keep an eye out (they have as far back as 2005 in the Crap Shack so...)

I did a check of JPCs posts but didn't really find anything there. Maybe in the archives though. We'll see, or hopefully someone saved ittt
Yeah, no luck. Seems that because certain forums were cut at certain times topics have gone missing like no-one's business.
For example: there was a game making competition that ran in 2008 that I took part in. Now my posts go back to about 2005 so logic dictates it should be somewhere in that lot but it's not because the whole forum it was in was deleted.
I've tried looking through screenshot threads (no luck) and game contests (no luck) and mapping contests (no luck) but, well, not even the way back machine helps.
Sorry Ocean! Maybe ask Segnin in the project request thread? He has everything else...
