Yeah, we're making a Radio Drama! Set to the backdrop of the RMNverse, and to the theme of a private detective story, and spiced with comedy!
*In case you're unfamiliar, the "RMNverse" is the term I've tagged on the far future universe we've been building! The Space Ninja Comic, the Battledome, the Explorer's Guild, and the upcoming game Atom Pulsar and the Rusty Libido... are all part of the RMNverse!

How do I join?
You can sign up freely in this topic, to join the upcoming script or possible future installments. If you are low on time or too timid to commit, many bit parts can be added!
It is universally accepted that the Hermit Slugs of Gurtonian-V are the worst voice actors in existence.
But what if I'm not "good enough" to be a voice actor?
That's alright! All level of vocal ability is accepted. As long as you can deliver a line (whether by dry reading or expressive enunciation)!
The Tigarilians have very grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrruff voices!
What do I have to do?
Just record a few lines (line amount depends on the character/actor/plot). It's encouraged that you go wild with your voice to bring aliens really to life! If you're unable/unwilling to do this, you will be cast as a "mainstream species" which speaks like you or I.
It doesn't have to be Sharksperion-level acting!
How to I audition?
Record yourself in audio format saying one (or all three) of the following lines:
1. Help me Clyve Cannolie! You're my only hope!
2. These are not the yummy drumsticks we're looking for. Carry on.
3. Shinan, what is best? To have your enemies crushed before you. D'uh!
You can use any intonation you desire, use any kind of voice, and if you absolutely need to, change the line. More than anything, we want to know who is willing/able to do what. Have fun with it! Take multiple attempts in one taping. Whatever!
Post your resulting sound files here, in some form of link, and we'll all have a chuckle. No one is "judging" you here. Sometimes really bad voice acting trumps really good voice acting!

I am most definitely in. I won't have time to record the audition samples today, but maybe tomorrow (or most definitely by the weekend).
It's okay if I do multiple variations of the lines right. Because I may be bad at voice acting but at least I can be diversely bad!

I'd like to emphasize to anyone timid about their voice, that the voice acting in this will probably be really disjointed and bad like in House of the Dead. So throw caution to the wind!

Here's mine I just recorded. They are a bit long because I basically just took a bunch of takes and didn't bother to edit (much).
EDIT: Alright so I tried to use an mp3-tag but I don't know how it works. These are just links to my lockerspace now.

I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

Haha, I was unsure first, but you could say I was inspired by Shinan's clips.
I'm certain I can record the actual clips in better quality, without random clicks and background noise, and I can probably put a bit more effort to the actual lines as well...

Yeah one of my takes is me singing the lines. If I didn't live alone I'd probably get an old boot chucked at my head.
