WHAT WAS THE FIRST GAME YOU EVER PLAYED?

Posts

I'm pretty sure my first was Duck Hunt. We had the gun peripheral and everything. It was either that or this really old DOS (I believe) Olympic Games sim. That might've been after Duck Hunt, though...

First one of my own that I played, though, was Pokémon Red (<3).

Breath of Fire I. Good times. Well ... that was my first RPG. When I was a kid, I would play Duck Hunt too.
Super Mario Bros. for NES. Second was Super Mario Bros. 3, which is still one of my all time favorites.
Like a lot of people, it was probably Super Mario Bros for the NES. Good times.
Well, I never had an NES or anything...but I did have a computer at the age of 2 so I played a lot of old DOS games...

my favourites as a kid:

1) The Treehouse
2) Mixed Up Mother Goose

haha
Age Three: Double dragon II, while I was home with the chicken pox. Mario followed shortly after.
Pacman...loved it then (I was like 5)but I don't care for stuff like that anymore.
GAMEBOY COLOUR: Bugs Bunny: Crazy Castle 4
N64: Diddy Kong Racing
GAMEBOY ADVANCE: It was either Wario Land 4, or Pokemon Ruby
GAMECUBE: Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker
PLAYSTATION 1: Final Fantasy 7
DS: Mario Kart DS
WII: Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
Pretty random huh?

Comp: Warcraft II (age seven) "It is a good day to die."

Playstation 2: Final Fantasy X (age ten) Kimarhi for the fuckin' win.

Game Boy Advance: Lunar Legend (age eight) "Can't you tell when someone's in the mood?"

GameCube: F-Zero GX (age eleven) "Falcon..." wait a second...?
It was probably Mario for the Gameboy. I believe I was two years old. My brother said I was able to beat the first stage, but I dunno. There were also a few DOS games I know I played, but can't figure out their names.

The first RPG I remember was Inindo: Way of the Ninja for the SNES and The Sword of Hope II for Gameboy.
Sonic and Knuckles. The kids in my afternoon program used to play this and Killer Instinct all the time.

Funny, as a kid, I never played games much. After about an hour, I got bored and wanted to go outside.
Well, I don't remember the first game I played. I remember the first game I BEAT though! Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening at the age of 3! No lie! It was on the SNES with the original gameboy cartridge thingy in it so the SNES can play the original gameboy games.
A pinball machine, probably. Maybe one of those table-top Space Invaders games, because they used to have one at the hockey rink, I remember, and I have lived here since I was three and it was one of the first games I ever remember seeing.

I think I had an SNES or something when I was little, but whatever. I consider FFX-2 to be my first game, at least on a console (although it really isn't, but it is the first after a long gap of not playing console games due to a lack of consoles).
If I recall correctly, it was StarTropics or SMB3.
Alex the Kid on NES or a platform/fighting game where you had to save your girlfriend.

First RPG was Breath of Fire II.

EDIT: Actually the first game I ever played would have been 'Peek-a-boo' as a baby. ^.^
Some Mario game or something. Mario 1?
Super Mario World, I think. >.>
I think it was Donkey Kong Country for SNES, but it might have been Barnstormer for Atarii =/
The Legend of Zelda for the NES, I think. I never had a NES, but my babysitter did. I also have faint memories of SMB3.
