CloseSo this is a strange sound problem I've been getting since installing my new sound card. Whenever I play an RPG Maker game, when a sound plays usually it will make the music quieter and more muffled for about a second and then it rises back to its normal volume. Can anybody explain this strange and annoying problem? The card is a ASUS Xonar Essence STX.
EDIT: Not making a reply since that'll bump the topic. I'm pretty sure I've downloaded the latest drivers. Anyway it doesn't matter now. I've returned the product. This topic can die now.

Sounds like a soundcard driver issue to me. Try updating the drivers for your soundcard and see if there's any options to control that effect?

I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

Choose your operating system, and it'll show a list of file versions, one gray text box for each file version. The top one is the newest. Click the Global download in the top text box unless you live in China (click the China download in that case).
