RM2K3 - CUT-SCENE PROBLEM THAT I'M SURE HAS A SIMPLE SOLUTION

Hello all,
I have a minor problem in the cutscenes I've made for my RM2k3 game, and I feel like there's a rather simple solution but it isn't coming to mind. Basically, in my cut-scenes, whenever someone isn't talking (i.e., there's some action going on or there's a pause in the conversation), I've realized that I can move my hero around, when he's obviously supposed to be controlled by the events in the cut-scene rather than by the player at this point.

I always thought the Halt All Movement command was the solution for this, but it's doing nothing (What IS it for, then?). Anyway, any help on this matter would be appreciated! Thanks.
LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

Whatever method you're using to make a cut scene is wrong. Cut scenes should happen as either an auto-start event upon entering a room, an on-touch event when the hero steps on a square, or an on-press-enter event when the hero talks to an NPC or presses enter in front of some other object. These events will continue until they finish and the hero will not be able to do anything until they end.

In contrast, a parallel process event will run in the background and let the player (or other events) do stuff as it runs.
Aha. I knew the solution was a simple one. Thank you! :)
