okey this is what happens i dont know if you know a game called touhou fantasy made for the usuari called xenomic well the problem is this my pc dont recognize the archives .ldb the version he use to make the game is the 2k3 if someone knows how to fix this please tell me i want to play that game so much
The .ldb file is not meant to be opened. You want to try running the RPG_RT.exe file to play the game.

Also, punctuation is your friend.
or the .exe file. In case Xenomic changed the filename.
In newer Windows OS's the file extension is hidden by default. Most kids don't know what .exe means or how to find it :/ It's going to become an epidemic some day.

Although since this guy knows it's .ldb... xD Just run every file until a game window appears!
but the only archive named RPG_TP is one that its format .ldb

So very true.. Apparently it makes me a nerd for knowing my way 'round a computer..
LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

You only got one file? That's not possible, an RPG Maker 2003 game comes with tons of files and folders. Only one of them is the application, but it needs all of them to play.

.ldb isn't an archive file, by the way. It's a piece of the game.
Download the game again or find a copy from another location.
i mean all the archives are there the maps the items etc everything but the archive that says RPG_TP is format .ldb theres no other with that name ...well theres another that says RPG_RT but its .lmt formar well i find another think in properties
says that the type archive is microsoft office acces record-locking information
and iam refering to the one that its format .ldb
rpg_rt.ldb is no archive and has nothing to do with MS Access, this is just a coincidence in the name ("ldb" is also used by Access).

You have to open the rpg_rt.exe file to play the game. If there is none, you might have got one of the very old games which were delivered without rpg_rt.exe because it was the biggest part of the game (oh, good old times...).

Is there a folder called "System2"? If there is one, copy this file into the game folder. If not, use this one.

Then, double-click the new file and enjoy the game.
yes it works thanks but now theres no music well that not metters now ill play the game
Double-click the speaker icon in your taskbar and make sure the "MIDI"/"synthesizer" volume bar is at 100% and not muted.

It's been this way at least since Windows 2000 and Windows ME (released in Febuary and September of 2000 respectively). Not sure about Windows 95 and Windows 98 since it's been a long time since I last used them, but I think they hid file extensions by default too. Did Windows 3.1 hide file extensions?

Yes, that's the one.

Ah yes exactly. Turn it up to 100% and uncheck the "mute" checkbox.
