INDIE GAMES GETTING ATTENTION
Posts
The main barrier to selling RM games commercially is usually the rights to the resources used in the game. Using art, music, and other materials from commercial games is very common here.
Reives composes his own music, which is a huge plus if you're going to go commercial. Harmonic was able to sell his games by composing his own music and hiring an artist.
If you can do your own art and music (or can find someone willing to do it for you) then yes, there are a few games here that could be sold commercially. But trying to sell a game with blatantly lifted resources is very tacky and could possibly get you into legal trouble besides.

Who wants to make custom art, sprites, music, and battle animations for me so I can remake my games and release them commercially?
