CAN'T SUBMIT SCRIPTS FOR OTHER ENGINES

When I first visited this site, rpgmaker.net, I thought it was a site specifically dedicated to the RPG Maker engines. However, I then noticed that other engines and games made with other engines were also included in the site's scope. However, it seems scripts for other engines can't be submitted. Is there a reason for this?
What other engine has scripts? If another engine has scripts, I can modify the site's code to add that functionality.
Don't most of the engines use some kind of scripting? Except maybe rm2k and rm2k3.
Most engines use some sort of internal scripting, even 2k and 2k3, but for the purposes of RMN we are interested in the scripts that can be exported and imported into different projects.

I know that XP and VX have that capability. I don't know if any of the other engines do.
Oh I thought the xp and vx scripts were copy-paste things.

I know though that AGS has script modules.
Should we add scripting support for AGS here?
Yeah it would be nice! I actually made a caterpillar script in AGS (which is a criminally underused engine outside of the adventure game fandom; it can easily do RPGs and stuff that the RPG Makers do but with more customization).

Is there a reason you don't have it set up to accept scripts for everything? Because I think the vast majority of engines use some kind of plain text scripting system.
mostly because I suck at Python.

(but also because it's easier to manage if there are only engines with known, easily sharable scripts)
Game maker has scripts, though if you are planning on adding scripts for other engines you might want to consider allowing demos to be put up with certain works.

Some scripts are really big and often require demos to fully show off the features, this also applies to RPG Maker. I say offering an option for demos because nearly all of the battle systems I've made end up getting reported so much that they get taken down, this also has happened to a few scripter friends as well.
For the demos, they're probably fairly small so I guess it would be possible to upload them to the Locker and link them in the script description. (that's more or less what the script description is for anyway)
What do you mean "getting reported so much"? Also, for now the workaround will be what Shinan suggests - upload to your locker and link to it in the description. I will look into the feasibility of allowing uploads for scripts.

So, we have:
-RMVXAce
-AGS
-Gamemaker

...as engines that should have scripts?
Maybe assholes are reporting script demos to the hosts to get them pulled?
Yeah, pretty much people being horrible. I have to update a lot of old demos because people report them to get them taken down. Happens a lot for some reason and not only to me. Someone once said that it was because of something called adfly or something and that people made money from links and reported others.

As for the locker, that's the only reason I post scripts. I love the extra space and I use it for many things and wasting it on demos would detract from the benefits of gaining more space. And since points are given just as a single script you are not gaining more points for bigger things such as battle systems or full menu systems which are often more than one script or system working together and would require bigger demos.

I know it might sound greedy not to want to use my space to host demos, but that space is one of the greatest incentives to make scripts I've ever seen, but since it treats everything as single script no matter how big or small it forces you to consider whether to post a big script in parts to gain enough space to put a demo and still get enough points to cover and demo and have some space left over or just bite the bullet and take your 1mb.
Well, in the interim, if you have demos you want to host for a script, let me know and I can bump up your personal locker space to hold it.

Also, I implemented scripts for Ace, AGS and GM.

(I gotta generalize the RMN code more sometime so it's not such a pain!!)

Could scripting be added for Unity3d, as well? The engine is completely driven by scripts, so it's tough to provide resources for it without the ability so submit scripts.
