I was going to suggest doing something for either The Hole and/or Weird Dreams, but...
?....but what?

Seriously: The Blue Contestant.
Max is right. I enjoyed a TBC challenge run after my normal run, back when it came out.
Starting up my DF2 No Experience run today. Managed to kill the first boss with minimal farming.
I still need to upload the final part of my DF LLG run. Blogging takes a lot of time...=P
What is Backstage? I've never heard of it.
And by the way, i found a list alphabatizer for the potential game list. The completed challenges list will be in order of completion.

Hmmmm...I only really attempt anything like this with one of my older projects... Sure, I know where all the best 'items' are, best 'healing spots,' best 'characters,' 'armor' -- the f'in works! But when it comes to other people's stuff...gee...I dunno...
...I guess I could try and see if I can complete Ara Fell or Sore Losers as fast as I can...or try and get over the $25,000+ limit in Monopolo, something!
...Good to see people doing this. It's nice to see how people do with a personal 'challenge' in mind. :D

Backstage is a horror survival made by Max McGee. It really is well designed and you don't have to level up or gather every item to beat the game, which makes it perfect for a speed run.

Ah, i see. Thanks for telling me. It sounds interesting.
I may be stuck on the second boss of my DFII level 1 playthrough. (Those damn eagels.)
Not to mention his full party attack can kill anyone not at full health. I have a feeling i may have to convert my file into a LLG instead.

smile even though my heart is bre-ea-king
Be warned: Backstage is really hard, even normally. And sometimes unfair in ways I tried to remedy in the six-years-in-the-making sequel (which has halted development because Archeia_Nessiah has better things to do than finish the menu system she said she'd do for me months and months ago *grumble* *grumble* kidding).
Anyway, to design a challenge for The Blue Contestant, I'd have to replay it, which doesn't sound like a bad idea, but there are so many NEW RM games I need to play, and Three The Hard Way tops my replay list anyway.
Love this idea! This may actually get me to playing the classic RPG Maker RPGs that I've completed.
Btw, Arandom, isn't Dhux Star "Dhux's Scar" instead...?
And I may just do a speedrun of Romancing Walker, the only RPG Maker RPG I've actually played more than once so far. Someone else can try to perfect Romancing Walker too. I have yet to actually be able to get all girls available near the end of the game (always short of one girl...:()
In short, for Romancing Walker challenge: Beat the game with the lowest level and with all girls available near the end of the game.
I actually thought of suggesting the game that I'm translating right now, but the translation's not complete yet, so I'll pass that for now.

"Romancing Walker". It runs on RPG Maker 2000. A classic game that was released around 9-10 years ago. Yes there is leveling involved. Maximum level is 35 i think. It's not found in rpgmaker.net but if you search it in google, the download is easily available.
Below is a playthrough of Romancing Walker by a fellow rpgmaker.net member, Liberty. She didn't complete it though, but at least you get the idea here.

Ah, i see now. I've, never played them, however.
More like: whenever I suggest someone should play The Hole, and get a positive response, I never hear from that person

ever again. As for Weird Dreams, that was a craptastrophe of a game idea.
