Hi Matias, while you seem like a very competent composer, I think I can safely speak for a lot of RMN when I say you are well outside of my price range. Especially when so much great music is available for free.
Well... i can't give this music for free, it's my job. Thanks for the comntarie.
I can not simply give this music, that's why i prefer to sell this tracks. I think there maybe someone is going to buy it.

I'm not saying you should give your music away for free, just that I think the vast majority of us can't afford $60.00 a track.
60 bucks for one track? So let's say I wanted to make a Rm2k game with complete original soundtrack, considering most games use over 10 different tunes, that'd cost me over 600 bucks...
Sorry man, I understand you want to get paid for your hard work, but nobody who uses RPG Maker is going to pay that for music. Some might pay a few bucks for one tune, but the other 80% will just download their shit for free.

Yeah...I don't think even CDs that have about tens songs or so cost that much.
Might I ask why your songs cost so much?
We're talking professionnal, business level here, guys. Many composers actually charge over $500 a minute for orchestrated songs.
But most game developers here are doing it as a hobby, so Matias, even if your talent is undeniable and your prices are actually cheap, I seriously doubt anyone here can afford your services. 'Tis a shame though, because your compositions are excellent.

I'd be willing to shell out $60 per song. But in exchange, I'd want a Right to Refuse in case I feel the quality isn't sufficient or the sound not what I'm looking for. You would have to work for the several thousand I'd pay for game full of original music.
Of course, this isn't anytime soon. I still need to finish my little indie game. And my next project is another little indie game. Well, we'll see. Time is too short. I need more of it.

These numbers are quite skewed.
FYI, I write commercial stock music for 150$ per minute.
When someone is paying 60$ for a track of RPG music, it better be custom and exclusive. If I'm not mistaken, this is actually royalty-free music? 60$ per track is exorbitant for that. Most pro-level composers charge at most 20$ per track, and usually 5 to 10 for royalty-free music.
Edit: nevermind, I see his royalty free list is cheaper.
@harmonic: Is that so? I even saw some people who ask for $1000 a minute, so I guess the prices vary greatly depending on the amount of work, the quality of the composition, the composer's "fame", client's budget, etc.
Yes, it depends a lot. If you're composing for a big title or if you're somewhat good, you may get around $500-$2000 per minute and sometimes the pricing can be a pre-determined sum of money for the entire soundtrack.
Stock music is naturally cheaper as it's non-exclusive. But these are pretty much the prices for commercial music, while people here are just hobbyists and don't really make money with these games, so it's unlikely they can afford the commercial price range...
