So Here Is My Prob The Game I'm Working On Has My Hero's With The Ability To Change
Form And Then Back. The Problem I'm Having Is When My Hero Changes
To The New Character That Replaces The Hero Doesn't Retain The Levels Or Stats.
A Little Help With This Problem Would Be Much Appreciated Also I'm Using RM2K3
If That Helps.
What are you using for event commands? Did remove the hero from the party and add the transformed state?

If you are, you should know that you can just use Set Hero GFX to change the Hero's sprite and back.

If this doesn't solve your problem please tell us a bit more about how you made this.
If there's a reason you're changing the character (apart from just a sprite change) then have a variable check what level the main character is on before you get rid of him. When you change back, add those levels back via the variable.
The Reason I'm Changing The Character Is He Becomes A Dragon Form With Different Skills And It Was A lot Easier To Make Diff Characters With Diff Skills And Switch Them Out Via Battle Event Uses The Command Change Party Members Remove And Add Page 2 Uses The Command Change Party Members Remove And Add Both Revert And Transform Are Linked To The Battle Event So Transformation Is Instant Also If The Battle Ends While In Dragon Form The Experience Does Not Carry Over To The Main Hero Because I Use A Parallel Common Event To Revert Back After Battle So Your Not Stuck In Dragon Form On The World Map And I'm Having Trouble With That To I Hope That Explains My Malfunction A Little Better

The reason I'm changing the character is, he becomes a dragon form with different skills, and it was a lot easier to make different characters with different skills and switch them out via battle event.

Hero uses the Transform command, change party members, remove Hero and add Dragon.
Page 2: Dragon uses the Revert command, change party members, remove Dragon and add Hero.

Both revert and transform are linked to the battle event, so transformation is instant.

Also if the battle ends while in dragon form the experience does not carry over to the main hero, because I use a parallel common event to revert back after battle, so you're not stuck in dragon form on the world map.

And I'm having trouble with that so I hope that explains my malfunction a little better

Alright, well instead of actually changing the character, can't you just remove all the Hero's skills and add the Dragon skills?

I mean I don't think you can keep track of EXP gained in battle and carry it over to another character.
Have a variable check the hero's level before you swap him out, then use the level up command to re-level him when you add him back in. Which is what I said in my last post, btw. You can also use variables to check his armour and weapons, then de-equip him, change to and from dragon form, and use variables to re-equip them. Easy enough.
Thanx All I'll Have A Go At It That Way But If Anyone Has Anything Else To Add Don't Be Shy I'm Always Open To Suggestions

I know right I spent like 10 minutes correcting his post in my quote.

...Yeah I'm bored
Thank you for it though, Robbie. It helped a lot.

(Too much capitalization >.<)
Couldn't you just use the Class Change for this? Change to the Dragon class, and back as needed? There are controls in the actual class change event that lets you either reset the level/skills/stats in the new class or not.
^
Or that. I forgot it exists because I never use it. :P
Thanx gusys I'll try the class change cause it seems more feasible and probably eaiser. I could also throw a small Demo up for you to check out it's not much but gives a general idea as to whats goin on and hows that for CAPS LOL.
