Added a lot of new and interesting things to my game since the last update. I've started building out the overworld, so far I have about 1/4 of it built up.
Also added some new features and effects namely a functioning day/night/rain cycle that is continually being processed even when you are inside a house. I plan to eventually integrate it into some of the game mechanics by having flooding effects or NPCs acting differently depending on the time of day/weather.
There is now also a boat! I'm thinking 2D "Windwaker" at the moment where you travel the seas island hopping to solve different quests and defeating enemies!
So I've been working on my game these past few days, at the moment I'm really trying to nail down the battle system. Currently I am going with a hack-and-slash "Zelda style" approach, I've got most of it working with enemies and a simple boss battle.
I plan on expanding the enemy variety and refining it to make the whole thing a little more unique. I am nearly ready to move on to building the storyline around these game mechanics.
