A quick update - the demo will be out by Friday, June 5th. It'll feature four complete dungeons that I'm hoping everyone can playtest.

YESSS twomorrow! aka my birthday :D
well im gona have my party friday to sunday but my B-day is june fifth. try to have this done for 3pm when i get outta school :D
also you should do some demo only area with like a super hard boss or enemys that way we can have fun killing super impossible enemys while waiting for the NEXT demo :D
also you have my full support 100% a 4 player game for my B day party when its me and 3 friends this is PERFECT :D ( im also getting my SSB brawl back so that to )

Hey im back ^-^ the demo worked great so heres my report on it :p (il do a actual review after the game is done) first off u fix worked for me. but here some odd things while using it. when u start a level i noticed after u enter a dungeon atleast once leave then one of the party members leaves (lets say you have 2 now) you try to do a dungeon but most of the time you will just end up looking at some random place in the dungeon? also sometimes it IS focused at your spawn but thats that. even if you move from it the camera wont follow you. to fix it u gotta leave then re-enter the dego game.
as for the game it was great but u might wana improve the classes a bit. i was a healser using mage staffs but my first firend was a warrior and he kept dieing..alot... EXPECIALLY at boss's its basicly impossible for a warrior or close range fighter to beat a boss. either give them a some weaker long range melee weapon or make warrior/thiefs stronger! (or there weapons better) i mean come on if u can choose between a 30 damage long range staff and a 30 damage close range weapon...ur gonna go longrange. theres no defence boost for warriors or anything!
also i think the "ally" thing is very advanced wtg!. BUT you should give the buy-them allys HP not a timer. just give them ALOT of hp. like what if u break for a few minites and ur allys gone? that sux. besides because there invincible you can do nothing...thats not right.
shock status is basicly the same as freeze. i think u should exteend the effects of freeze by alot but make it so you can still attack just not move.
idk if its a glich or not but you cant get any of ur skill bar up in a boss area. you should look at that. also bosses should have more attacks. i agree they have alot but make them more or more harder. just reduce hp
that mini quest in the burnt village in 1-2 was hard as fuck. even with a party of 4 people. the dogs could gang you super easily.
also in that area the flowers confuse you BUT theres 2 major ishues. 1 is if u get confused it may may u use ur speical skill (probrly) wasting ur skill bar.
the second one is if a bee gets confused they go praticly berserker and rapid fire in all directions. and like a second after it stops they get confused again. have 3 bees doing this and ur pertty fuked. fix it?
one last thing to mencion is the lv 4 necro skill to bring people back to life. after u use it it doesn't matter if theye still alive or actually died afterward the (what i call) the "im going to die" syndrome does NOT go away! even if a priest revives you normally after youve fuklly died u still got it. EVEN IF YOU CAMP! i think of it as a ovious bug. make it so casting revive normally or camping will dispel the "im going to die" thing.
finally i did like the game ^-^ it was great. for whatevers sake heres what classes we were.
P1 warrior -> changed to necro.
P2 mage -> changed to priest. (me. i sold the whip and got make stuff and hp stats. the mage skills suck and priest is pertty useful! make mage skills better! )
P3 paladin (he left on day 1 of my party but was still useful. i relly like the skill set. make classes skills more balanced/actually useful like this! ) on a side note i liked the make food skill. but sometimes he would randomly make a status buff?
one final note. the paladin is a warrior/healer while the priest is a healer. might wana swap there reviving skills. a preist who is DECITADED to healing can heal and revive but a paladin who can use a sword and make everyone picture perfect? nonsence. the skills are good but for the wrong class. besides paladain has make food. he doesnt need healing AND reviving. *one final thing...gee i rambel on* might wana fasten up the priests healing skill. like instead of 30% in 30 seconds try 20 or 10 second. the healing is so SLOW! plus anyone without large amoust of hp can easily die before there healed. *notiably close range combat* PS if u make a whip for a priest make MORE whip type weapons. a basic weapon is useless unless u build on it. (maybe there is but i never noticed idk.
anyway im done. TODAY is technically my birthday but this game was very fun for my party ^-^ also even tho i dont have one might wana make the game joystick compatiable. also i only made it to dungeon 2-2 at the boss. u said there were for dungeons. do they unlock after u beat the boss lol.

-I still have no idea what is going on with the off-focus camera bug. I can't seem to recreate it, so it's hard to find the cause
-Melee characters have a slightly faster attack rate for specials, giving them a higher dps. They can do 4 special attacks in the time a ranged character can do 3. They have other advantages like not having to wait for the bullet to hit, hitting multiple enemies with one attack, and enemy melee attacks are usually much weaker than their ranged abilities. For bosses, they have a charge up animation before each attack that warns the player to back away, but in mulitplayer, things are a lot more hectic and it's hard to notice. I'll try and make it more visible.
-The allies are handled separately from the players, so I'd have to rework every monster attack to damage them too. Plus I'd have to redo the monster AI to target them. It's just a lot of work to change how they behave now!
-The only difference with freeze is that you can "break out of" the status by quickly moving in different directions. I really like the idea of being able to attack, but not move!
-Future bosses will be much more challenging :)
-I accidentally used my special when confused sometimes too, so I'll probably rework the condition when I have time. Bees are supposed to get stronger when they are confused, but maybe I went a little overboard with purposely making them spawn next to the flowers?
-Someone already reported the Necro revive bug, and I thought I fixed it! Now I made sure the condition is removed in all situations: leaving the dungeon, being revived by priest/paladin, and using the camp.
-Most people just post up bugs, so thanks for all the comments on class balance! The paladin skill mostly drops meat, but there is a 1/5th chance of something else appearing. The paladin and priest originally had the same revive skill, but I made the paladin's better because they need a full bar to use it. Compared to other max level skills, the paladin revive was very conditional and usually worthless. I always thought HP regen was so slow and nearly useless. Just wanted to see if someone else agreed :) I'll definitely rework the priest's skill and regen items. I think there is another whip weapon in the game, but a priest doesn't need to use just whips. The problem is, most of the whip graphics I have are way too cool to be low level starting items.
-There's only 2 areas, but I considered 1-1,1-2,2-1,2-2 the four dungeons.

oh kk. also i still think the fact that a MAGE gets mostly status effecting skills is kinda dum. add adleast one damage dealing skill for mage. and maybe swap level 3 and 4 skill? the level 3 skill seems overpowered and maybe abusable? i wasn't mage for long so idk. also u said u couldn't recreate the screen/camara appearing in random dungeon parts.
im thinking its because i had to use that "fix" because the normal download would't work.
also instead of just go to dungeon im thinking maybe u could make a world map style like pokemon mystery dungeon or FFCC where you just select/go to it on the map then enter it. accept no enemys on the map and its small + next dungeon wont appear till u beat ur current one. if u dont wana do it thats fine. but i bet it would add more the the games depth. people like world maps and places to enter and exit. still click and go COULD work...(then again it aleady is lol)
