Long story short, this was created to see just how far Rpgmaker2003 could be pushed. Featuring action commands similar to those in Paper Mario, a 2D Platforming overworld, and an entirely custom battle system created using CherryTree's amazing PicPointerPatch shows just how far the eventing system can be pushed.

Including subsystems such as a dynamic buff tracker, a threat-aggro system, and probably more things that are in the events somewhere.

The engine is pretty much pushed to its limits in its current form and likely will never be finished as a game. However I feel as though some others could make use of what is currently here whether to use as reference for their own custom stuff or otherwise, therefore I will be uploading the entire modifiable game without disguising it.

I will recommend you to not put as much stuff in as I did, as the engine is single-threaded and can barely handle what's going on right now.

this is really beautiful! (my PC can't deal with the battles, tho, also, random encounters is something I ain't got the patience for, so I didn't get to see much of it)

the character movement is soooo smooth

and the title screen amazes me. how did you even do that? I wanted to make a sort of animated title screen for rm2k3 but couldn't find a way. I guess you made it into the game already, right?
There was a second patch I installed that bypasses the default title screen so technically the title screen is just another map.
