This sounds like a good approach. The only thing I want to add is drawing the monsters myself in a style that meshes better with the feeling I'm going for with this game.

I kinda feel that WaUTaH, being a larger project, probably needed the attention. That by diverging your attention between WaUTaH and this could decrease the overall quality of one, or perhaps both, games. So, I don't think you should feel guilty for putting this aside, or for this having less attention than a game that, in my opinion, has the best chances of being voted for Game of the Year for the 2020 Misao season.

Thanks, Marrend! I'm not great at splitting my attention between two projects, so I wholeheartedly agree, in the end, it was the right choice.
I agree with Cap H. Do what you can and don't overwork yourself! You've done great. I can't speak for everyone but personally me and my gf really liked what was here so far for this game. And of course, the name is a masterpiece as everyone else has already pointed out.

The more I think about it, the more excited I'm getting to get it finished! I've already started redrawing the monsters in my own style and it's fun to reimagine them!

It seems like everyone has already talked you into finishing this - and I’m with them too; I wouldn’t mind seeing this get finished as well, not just because of the awesome sounding name, but because I’m getting a lot of Luxaren Allure vibes with this one - and I freakin' love that game.
I always believe that you should make what YOU wanna make, not necessarily what others want you to do or what’s currently trending in the gaming industry. If you personally believe that this project will be a success and that you'll enjoy working on it - then I'd say go for it! And since you have such a knack for making yuri-based games that someone as straight as me can also enjoy, I say continue working with the hot hand. So Date Knights is a solid “yes” for me.

Thanks so much, Addit! :D I'm glad you think so! I too am always about "do what you want to do" but I'm in a weird state of mind where I'm not sure what I want to do.
But as I revisit this, I really would like to see this done, and this is a shorter game that I can work on at a slower pace and just enjoy the process, so it seems like a good project for me right now :DDDDD

Well...you know, if you’re itchin’-for-a-somthin’ to do, you could always make that Lynette spin-off game and give her the closure that her and her fans need!
Either that or just make something dumb, like a puzzle game, or something.
