MMLW Dev Blog | 003 Demo and other stuff



Welcome!


Long time no see! I'm Metal Dreamer, today i'll bring out the dev blog. I have made some improvement to the game. Let's start.



  • I've created a fictional drink for special purposes in the game.(Story lore related)
  • We've made some new vehicles for the game.
  • We released a demo in our dedicated discord. I'll be releasing it later here but for now if you want the demo you'll need to join the discord server.

  • Currently working on second region of the game. (500x500 map)
  • Created a twitter acoount

  • Added New enemies and some bosses too.
  • Added Quest log.


    I'll be hosting some Beta testing over in the discord server. if you want to beta test the game before it's released here, you should join us! We are a small community but we're growing.

MMLW Dev Blog | 004 First dungeon completed



Finally finished the first dungeon design. Byonic System Tank Factory!

Really proud of the results. I'll be adding the lore to the structure and more this week. The tutorial region is almost complete.

Added item animations and category for everything. Now you can see yourself putting the fire out, or using a healing pill. Really cool is it not?!

Right now im working on the SE equipment for the vehicles. Finally on the final stage of animation.

MMLW Dev Blog | 003 Weapons Animations and Transformation



Welcome!

This is Metal Dreamer giving you guys a update blog in the development on MMLW. After some days of testing and working really hard. I finally have made some progress on the battle system and finally everything around that is coming to an end.

Almost all the weapons have been animated to its fullest. (Pistol, Uzi, Gatling gun, Throwable Wrench, Shotgun, sniper, bazooka)
Added new icons to the items. So everything looks nice.
Added a new transformation skill. Become a Bladetooth and go beserk.





After the final things are made, i'll be looking for a Dev team or testing team to try everything out. If you are interested, please contact me through here!

Welcome!



This is Metal Dreamer, it´s finally time i give some development blog and progress in sight about the game. I´ve been working so hard these past three months and finally i´ll be able to start the History Development of the game.

I´m considering making a Playable Demo for everyone. But i´m still looking at the idea of making it or not.

Also i´ll be looking for some tester so they can help me with some Proofreading. This is because i´m not native English speaking.

But without anything in the way. Let´s start the List of Development.

1 - Vehicle system - Done.

Observations

Point 1 :

The Vehicle system is done. You can get in your tanks, and they will save their location after you close the game. Every Vehicle will have a different location and a different method to obtain them.
Also, they will have their own service where you can heal the HP and The Fuel of the vehicle. Humans items wont heal them, and viceversa.
Also, Each vehicle will have different Weapon slot at first, but after that, it can be modified in a in game shop. Adding more ways to have more waepons.
Each Motor will give more HP depending on its model. So, you can upgrade your motor to be able to have more Load power (HP). (Also, Each weapon has a individual Weight. So the HP will lower depending on which weapons you put on the vehicle.)

Point 2 :
In the game, you can build structures to make your experience more easy. Something i really didn´t like in a dungeon crawler, was the back tracking to restock everything you needed. So, you´ll be able to build outside the dungeon so you can rest or get you items more easily.
Also, i´ll be looking at a city building quest. A city you can modify as you like.

Point 3 :
A simple Crafting system so you can create more items, or secret weapons hidden within the game data.

Simple, right?

Point 4 :

Enemies will scale a little bit with your level. Some enemies will have levels, and other wont. It´ll depend on the region you are on.

Point 5 :
Fullscreen done.

Point 6 :
After you beat the game in one of its endings. You can choose to go in a New Game + gamemode. You´ll maintain every item you had, and will restart from the beginning so you can do the other endings more easily. (Also Hidden content)

Point 7 :
Now you can store your items. Also you can have a bank account to store your money if you need to.

Soon, i will be recording some gameplay of the game, so you guys can see how much i´ve done. (Or look at the image section of the main game page)

This is all i have for now. I hope you guys are enjoying the development of the game as much as i do. This project is really fun to make and i hope to finish soon enough. Í´ll be realising some game demos if i feel like it.
