"Final" Notice - New plans, new team

As some people may know from recent updates on other platforms, this version of the game is not being developed anymore, because of new and bigger plans for TROFA. There was a change in the engine and our entire approach to this project, and we're currently working on a tech demo. In the meantime, we had time to write a screenplay for the first arcs, do a Game Design Document and group some concept art as well, to give our material to potential collaborators. We always knew, in the end, that we couldn't do this alone.

Exactly for that reason, we made a post on the Itch.Io Community Forum to search for creative support of any kind. If you are interested, give a look to the post and feel free to contact us.

UPDATES ABOUT THE DEMO - PLANNING HAS STARTED



After we refreshed the style of the game, before starting the production phase we checked our old material that we made in 2019/2020: the structure of the game needed a big re-newal.

Even in those terms, the standards for the projects have risen and the old schemes it followed until now didn't reflect its new needs.

-About the Alpha-
The double release of an alpha and then a demo was because of the difficulty in making assets and giving something playable as soon as possible. Now, since the structure of the game will change, it will be planned to make that a demo of the duration of one hour minimum will be developed.


-About Tumblr-
We still have the intention to use Tumblr to give insight on story and characters, but this platform will be used when the demo will be developed enough to give interesting material for insight posts.

FUTURE ALPHA RELEASE ANNOUNCEMENT

Hello, guys! We announce that even before the demo version of the game, an ALPHA VERSION will be available next year!

We decided to release a demo of the game way after an Alpha version because we plan to do a demo which will mark the very beginning of Frankie's adventure.

But for that we need lots of time and, most of all, resources.

A new screenshot... And about Ko-Fi donations!

Hi guys! We didn't make ourselves heard from a long time, but at this point we think it's time to tell you because this will probably take us all summer.
From what you might have guessed for a while, we are going through a really difficult phase of production.

The restyling phase is going to be really complicated. Everything will be hand-drawn: from maps, to sprites, to animations, to potraits with lipsynch and pose changes.

We don't want to see this moment of complications and obstacles as mere difficulties, but as an occasion to celebrate. An occasion to celebrate the continuous spirit of evolution with which we are looking at this project, so we are going to start a really important promotion campaign, including special surprises (a really, really special one because we are going to offer you a very first preview of the game as we have never done in all these years) and two important news; but to start we will obviously have to complete everything, from the preview to the other surprises we have mentioned.
For the moment, we can only show you a very small screen to show where we've come so far.



This screen is not yet final: the potrait has undergone new changes and has been redrawn a second time, but this can give you an idea of the style we are moving into.
