In ages past, a catastrophe happened to force the remnants of Mankind underground. Using the magic of a crystal, they put up a barrier on the entrance to their underground colony. As the ages past, the colony grew, and they eventually forgot that there was a surface.

The colony now looks to expand. The old texts speak of a strange world with a blue ceiling. It's your job to investigate this "surface", and see what potential it holds for expansion.

Seems interesting. It reminds me a bit of The Descent, except the people didn't become monsters.

I can't say I've heard of that one. However, I can say that the game drew a lot of it's inspiration from the Might and Magic series than anything else. Such as the map-grid concept. If you ever played A Half-n-Half Affair, it would be like how those maps transfer to each other, except in this game, it could have been a 4 x 4 grid instead of a "T". Except I chose not to hate myself, and made it a 2 x 2 grid instead.

Though, the idea to attach skills entirely to equipment was a thing I was tinkering with here, and in a future project that may never see the light of day.
This seems like an interesting game but I would recommend replacing the RTP assets with more original ones but other than that this looks like a cool game

You could have a point. Within the context of the event this was made in, I finished with time to spare. So, I could have used that time to commission stuff, or find free materials. I know I wouldn't feel okay with making stuff by myself!

*looks at the games I've submitted to RMN over my ten-year tenure at RMN*
*they all pretty much rely on RTP*
*one was a "Hidden Gem" spotlight*
*wait, ten years? Darigaaz, I'm old*
