Lol sorry I meant to put this on private til I had everything sorted. there's a link to the itch.io page up now, you can dl it there. Also trying to upload it here but it's taking a while.
I started playing, and I'm about 4 - 5 hrs in now, and it's been a delightful experience! As a gay male gamer, I've been waiting for the day when RPG Maker games include a gay protagonist/ player character with good representation, and Jubilee has done an amazing job of that so far. (I especially and absolutely loved that the protagonist has two mothers!) The concept of Dream and Nightmare layer is brilliant, the sense of humor is great, and the characters are adorable. (Rachel made me lol'd a few times, Leah kept impressing me with her badass ways, and Amos is so adorable.)

Although, while boss battles are fun and challenging, the normal battles (up to around Elpis, where I currently am) eventually gets to be quite the same for me. I find myself end up spamming AOE elemental spells then finish them off with other physical attackers. Nothing wrong with that since the battle is fast-paced and those monsters hit hard anyway! Though I find myself ended up not using other skills as much aside from in boss battle. (Who knows maybe I just have to change my playstyle haha...)

All that said, this is one of the favorites I've played from this site so far!! The story really got me hooked. If you ever make any more games, and wanted to make it commercial, I'd definitely buy it. Also if you ever feel like recruiting people to help make games, I'd really love to help! Thanks for making my day with this game, and keep being awesome!
Ahh thank you so much!!! I'm really glad you're enjoying it, thanks so much for the feedback on the battles too, I'll keep that in mind if I make any further tweaks or updates. I really appreciate you taking the time to leave a comment!
Actually, now that random encounter gets more challenging, I definitely have to start using more diverse skills of each character, so scratch what I said earlier. I really like how useful and balanced status abnormalities are for player character's skills. :)
I'm in the after-game bonus dungeon and just beat Mastema, but now I can't seem to find a way to get out. Did I miss something?

Have you tried Amos' Evac spell? Are you physically unable to exit the final area by going back the way you came - like, the transfer just doesn't work?
How do i use the accessories it is greyed out in the equip menu?

Amos' spell takes you back to the beginning of the bonus dungeon, and there's no exit.

Oh you can cast Warp at the beginning of the bonus dungeon, but I realise that's not super intuitive so I'll add a portal or something to make it clear. Thanks!

I'm not sure exactly what you mean. Which part of the game are you in?
Just tried this yesterday and was hooked. A game with gay -guys-, an rpg game, and one that's actually really good? Never thought I'd find one!
Been meaning to make one myself but motivation is not too kind.

A few notes so far; Currently at Ninevah; (I'll be back after I play some more, can even feel free to message me if you want any other thoughts/info on it~)
Played on Wrath mode the entire time. Game has been a challenge the entire way through so far. Not too hard, Not easy. Haven't gotten a game-over yet, but it's been perfect difficulty through so far. (a rarity for me and my playstyle.)

Encounters aren't too long, kind of fun thinking of ways to get through them while balancing JP with 'trumpet' skill on Micah and 'leech strike' with leah after doing AoE status ailments.

In the beginning I have to admit Amos had me blushing here or there. Really hope things work out.
With the random surprise outbursts considered

Love the collectibles. Postcards are fun with solid rewards. Been saving all the pearls I find for the one reward at the end though. Whether it's overpriced or not I'll have to decide later on, feel it might not have been bad to be able to buy other things in the pearl shop with comfort while saving for the last one.

Do we get more opportunities to have meals with the characters to boost relationship/stats at certain intervals or is that a one-time thing?

When you go downstairs in Ninevah restaurant, then go back up, the red tint is gone til you go back outside.
Also, the green haired character walking around in front of the clinic on the left side says something like '}jsomething' on one of his text boxes around Ninevah time.

Sorry, rambled on. But still this is amazing so far~
Hi Knightowl, you don't need to apologise for rambling I'm glad you're enjoying the game!! I really appreciate you taking the time to leave some comments. I'll look into balancing the Pearls a bit more, I did think they were maybe a bit too rare for people to spend casually. Meals with the rest of the party is a one-time thing, I ran out of ideas for the rest of them lol. And thanks for reporting the tint bug, I hope you enjoy the rest of the game!
Just finished it.
On note of the pearls, perhaps removing the accessory that costs 70 and having it appear later with the others might be a good thing? To have others not feel they need to save up 70 right from the beginning and feel a bit more free in spending them.

Also, found the dev room, yet when you go to the upper right corner, it says 'cannot load img/pictures/malakai%20superboss.png'.

Great game though, hearing all the ideas that weren't included via the dev room kinda makes me sad, would be awesome to see them added someday and flesh out the game some more. It has some real solid potential to easily be an even longer one.
Feel like Amos' outbursts weren't really explained too much unless I missed/misinterpreted something. He had a few dark moments and it wasn't really spoken of again.
Yeah that's a good idea, I'll have a look at those two things, thanks for the feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed the game :) But yeah you're right Amos' outbursts didn't really go anywhere, unfortunately I didn't think I could pull off my original plans w that. If I ever make a sequel I might try re-using some of those ideas though and seeing if I can pull it off. Anyway, thanks for playing, I really appreciate it!
If you do make a sequel I'll be there for it~

Or even if not enough to make a sequel, even a remaster or extension on this game fleshing out their stories/backgrounds more with stuff like Leah's hometown, more restaurant scenarios, etc. would be amazing. Adding an extra floor or two with a gimmick to each dungeon... There's alot of potential.

Honestly you used a lot of great things I love to see in rpg's.
The pearls giving stat boosts I was like 'eh.. maybe later' but on the post game where they're in full abundance and drop from enemies to boost your stats how you like at that point is awesome.
Colosseum's are always fun.
Status ailments really work against bosses.
Having to choose whether you wanted enemies soaked to slow them down (since
a majority of them outsped half of my team.) or hitting them with an enhanced thunder spell or wanting them burned to take damage over time instead. (since the latter two remove the soak)
Sidequests and optional dungeons will always be a favorite.
The collectible postcards (only found 15. apparently theres 17?)
The fact that alot of things and people in the world change overtime as you go through the story if you backtrack.
Just seems a lot of attention and care went into the game which is awesome.

I have a problem in sarahs mansion, I am trying to set the clock to 6:45 and I can only put in the hour and it only has option for minute not able to put in 6:45. also nothing happens when it try to put out the fire in the dining room and I have the table set with all the food. What am i missing? I am totally hooked on your game.

Oh yeah so you have to put it in the way it would look on an analog clock - so 6 for the short/hour hand and 9 for the long/minute hand. Sorry for the confusion, I'm glad you're enjoying it!
@Knightowl I'm really glad you liked it, perhaps in a year or two when I've had time to improve on RPG making I might come back and flesh out Jubilee a bit more. Thanks for all your feedback!
