Come for the Rpg Game... Stay for the Puzzle Game.

Mapping-Graphics: 3.5 out of 5

This games mapping is off the hook. The maps for the most part are just very pleasing to see. All of the exterior and cavern maps are some of the best you will see on Vx period. They leave very little to be desired and have plenty going on. On the flip side however the interior maps while still good, could use a little polish. There are too many rooms where the areas are just to big. Also the map design is ridiculously good. In most Rpg maker games the path you need to take is clear. You look at the map and a split second you know where the exit is and how to get there. This game however cleverly places puzzles and obsticles in your way so you have to think how will get to the next area. The only downside in this area of the game, is that game has a filmy look to it that makes a great looking game look dirty and out of focus. However it is not bad enough to make you stop playing.

The mapping here is top notch.

Gameplay: 4 out of 5

Puzzles what can you say. They often make or break a gaming experience. They are either too hard or not hard enough. This game nails the balance making the difficulty and frequency add to the game play. In this game you can save anywere and since the story is episodic this keeps the gamer from getting frustrated. The battles are trigered by touching a slime in the game world map. Which means that there are no random battles, and it really works for this game there a just enough battles that you won't find yourself running form any. The only problem for this catagory is the text. Ya that is right Mcdohl there is SLOW TEXT. I might add too that it is extremely annyoing. This could easily be fixed and should be right away.
The final note here is that the battles are too similar there is not enough variety and the game's only boss is too easy.

Map design and puzzles make this a great game.

Story: 1 out of 5

This game demo is short and while there are alot of puzzles and places to go. The story unfolds slow and uninterestingly. There were 5 characters and I only remember one of their names. The only reason that this is getting a low score is because their is not much to go off.

The game's only boss and while exquisite he is just too easy.

Music-Sound: 3 out of 5

Lets start with the bad here, the victory music that plays after you win a battle is horrible.
Now the Good. The boss battle music was great and the menu's sound effects were amazing. Other than that though there is not much to say. There is no Rtp music which is great. Overall though the sound is forgetable.
