Progress Report

We will be doing smaller but more frequent updates to our story

After some consideration from friends, the story will be updated more frequently but in smaller quantities so that those that want to read right away will be able to, while those who wish to wait for more days can wait until more days are out to read through.

Thank you all so much for your patience, and we hope you enjoy the story!

Frequency of Updates

There's been some debate between readers in regards to how often I should update the story.

One side prefers more frequent, but smaller updates, while another side prefers bigger, but infrequent updates.

Which side are you on? And which would you prefer for this story?

Part 2 of the Hiromi Arc is here!

First of all, sincerest apologies to those who have been waiting to read more of the story. This year has been incredibly busy for me and the spare time I had to work on the story was scarce, but thank you so much for your patience.

This should cover the rest of Hiromi's arc and plant seeds for a future arc I have planned.

Now for veteran readers, you'll notice that there's no voice acting for the first week, or in fact no voice acting at all.

This is because I have made a difficult decision to remove the voice acting, for several reasons:

1) Budget constraints. I do not have enough of a budget to continually hire voice actors, and as such, instead of only adding voice acting for a few scenes, I've inclined to remove them altogether to remain consistent with the rest of the story.

2) Incorrect translations. When I asked a co-writer about the Japanese voice acting, they found out that the Japanese lines given to the voice actors were not only incorrect, but also robotic and unnatural. Those who are astute to Japanese will immediately figure out how it sounds unnatural.

3) The voice actors I hired became too busy to work on further recordings. I would have to schedule in advance, and I simply do not have the time to sit by for the recordings.

We truly apologize for the inconvenience and hope people will understand why I have made the decision to remove voice acting.

Despite this, we still hope you enjoy the story enough to want to read more of it.

Thank you for sticking with me through this time and we hope you enjoy what Shujinko Academy may have in store!

Part 1 of the Hiromi Update is here!

Hi everyone, thank you all so very much for your patience! It's been a few months, but we have a little more to share with everyone reading the story. The beginning of Hiromi's arc is here! Nothing too juicy yet, just setting up the story, but there's still plenty to read!

There are also changes not just pertaining to the newest days. There's extra content too, such as:

  • Voice Acting (Japanese) is now available during the first week of CGs from Masuyo to Reiko.

  • Extra scenes have been added at the end of almost every day in the first week, giving more insight to the characters bonding without the perspective of Jun.

More extra end-of-day scenes and voice acting will be added as the updates continue. Please look forward to them!

For now, enjoy the first part of the Hiromi arc update!
