End of the Road -- v1.6
So after plenty of bug reports, critiques, and suggestions I decided to give the game an ol' lookover to remove bugs, fix balancing issues, give it a proper testing shakedown, and add a thing or two. It ended up being 261 lines of assorted changes (with spacing, headers, and a few other notes) but it is the final version of Demon's Gate. All those stupid bugs you had to be blind to miss are actually gone, enemies behave properly and aren't completely shut down by basic moves like Fury/Silence or draining their MP, New Game + works (oh god there is an entire section for the bugs in it), and it finally feels like a game worth playing.
The complete change list is here (it's a tad too big for a blog) if you like reading these things. There won't be any other changes or releases (not even ninja edits). Demon's Gate for Rm2k3 is officially done with and I won't be touching it ever again (wait I've said this before haven't I?)
Next up? Maybe a post-mortem of the game, covering what I thought was done right (haha) and wrong (hahahahahaohgod) and my own thoughts of how the whole game worked. Or a video of me deleting Rm2k3 with Ode to Joy playing to show that I am serious that I won't be using Rm2k(3) ever again because fuck it I hate it with all my soul and the only reason I kept using it was so I could finish a real game with it (and to give it a level of quality it, or any game, should at least try to have).
Oh, and the RMVX Template Project. That's been down due to a stupid mistake on my part for some time and none of my backups were in an acceptable state to resubmit. I'll get to that soon.
