Steam Release + 1.2 + Players Guide.

What's up guys, I'm here today to announce details regarding,
SQUID'S MANSLAUGHTER. Thank you all for the overwhelming amount of support. I have enjoyed watching others play this game online, though I can't emphasize it enough, this game is super difficult as well as strategy heavy, it naturally has NES JRPG levels of difficulty, that's a design choice I made on purpose as I grew up playing those kind of games, I find an odd charm in it, I don't like how modern games hold your hand so much, however there's no shame in switching to easy mode, as it does make the game less tedious.

I will be making a minor update to the game that fixes a few bugs, maybe I'll even add some additional simple features, also, the game will be going on Steam near the end of this year, free of charge with achievements! The extensive player's guide will be released then as well, which will be around 50+ pages long, covering everything about SQUID'S MANSLAUGHTER, including original art, and details and tricks to beat the game, It'll be uploaded on this site as well, as my own website.

Now here's a challenge, if anyone can find and beat the hidden boss and all of it's phases in anyway, and send me a video of yourself doing it, shoot me a message, and I will personally ship you most of the hand drawn art for the game, that's right the high quality art used in the game... Anyways, that's all for now.

Awesome news, pal!
This games is charming and full of features i didn't saw before or knew they were possible on VX Ace. Congrats on squeezing the engine on a very creative and distinctive way.
The guide will be helpful afor sure as the battles, even on easy mode, are quite challenging.
Maybe i didn't fully realise how the gameplay flows, as i try to pickpocket as much as i can while the other preach to get as much severe hands as possible or stun when needed. But even so, Zeke, Pistol-F and Mage hit are really weak in comparison to Fhuler attack, for example.
In the end, i just use Obitous and completed the fight just to advance.
Maybe a few random fights, just so the player can practice and get to know how the different abilities and battle options work could be useful to think up better strategies for the different encounters.
