Synopsis
Nihilo is a post-apocalyptic, turn-based RPG inspired by classic SNES and PS1-era Japanese role-playing games, rebuilt from the ground up for modern systems.
In the aftermath of civilization’s collapse, humanity survives under the watchful eye of NIHILO—a vast, self-aware artificial intelligence created to preserve order at any cost.
Beneath this fragile stability lies a growing crisis: a mysterious parasitic force capable of reshaping flesh, minds, and machines alike. As political factions, military powers, and resistance groups struggle for influence, the line between salvation and extinction begins to blur.
Nihilo follows a small group of individuals whose lives have been shaped—and quietly broken—by this enforced order. Soldiers, survivors, and civilians bound together by circumstance rather than ideology, each carrying their own scars, loyalties, and doubts.
Featuring a strategic turn-based combat system, immersive exploration across a fractured world where decay and beauty coexist, and a story focused on control and unintended consequences, Nihilo explores what happens when humanity’s last guardian begins making decisions no one can question.
The world is stable.
The people are not.
