Battle System Adjustments and mini story demo.

More Battle System stuff... Yay...!
Decided to give a try to a suggestion made by edchuy to allow actions to be taken right after input to increase the speed of battles. This change might take a while though since it requires to change a lot of things on the battle system.
Commands are going to be divided into Character (Attack, Skill, Rest, Item) and Global (Party, Move, Escape) commands. Pressing up or down while a character is active would switch between the 2 sets of commands.
Turn counter is going to be removed completely to allow the viewing of the current status of party members.
There are other changes and adjustments that are going to be done, but it's too early to mention them.
Preview Images:
I personally like how you can view the stats of items and Party members at the same time.
Mini demo:
DEMO LINK
I don't know how long it's going to be up so, grab it while you can.
I feel like I'm cutting way too much out of the story, because of sprite limitations and trying not to make it too boring. This is why I'm posting this small story demo to see if people like the flow and speed of the story.
Notes:
-The demo has no music because the game has no music done for it. Yet.
-You can skip stories by pressing CTRL which will prompt a skip cutscene message.
-The first battle is going to be turned into a tutorial. For now it just ends fast as part of the story.
-The demo is sort of old so some things might have changed since it was uploaded.
-Enjoy the battles at the end?
Also comment.
Have a nice day and thanks for reading.

Just to put it out there. I did download this. I'll play it and give my opinion when I have some free time. :3
Edit: Well that was short. The story didn't have much of a start to really get interesting. It felt like it was still stuck in the intro! The battle system is pretty fun though. Mixing equipable abilities and battle formations was interesting. I look forward to seeing something more substantial in the future.

Thank you for testing it out. Also it's short because I wanted to see if people liked the pace at which the story moves.
And only one person played it? 43 people subscribed and only 1 person played it. Yeah don't expect another update anytime soon.
I didn't know there was a download link in the blog; in fact, I assumed it would be in the download section. XD

I was warned that people would not find the link in the blog, which is why I added the big red text as the link. Thanks for testing.

Sweet. Also thank you for testing it out.
Tried out the demo, I like the battle system a lot. Will be interesting to see how it turns out for end game stuff. Best of luck, and looking forward to this~

Thank you for testing it. As for the battle system, it has been improved greatly in terms of speed and action, so it will differ a bit from this version though it's technically the same, but faster.
