I'm getting a "ej-systemfinal" cannot be opened error, which is not allowing me to play. :\
Does it occur at startup? What OS are you using?

Same questions. I'll research what I can in a couple hours when I get home from work.
I tried it on a fresh windows 7 install on my work computer and it boots up fine. No RTP or anything installed.

2. Try putting all the files into a simple folder directory like "C:\EJ" and see it if plays then.
After putting it all into a folder it worked! Not sure what exactly would cause the error, I opened with WinRar and extracted, guess it was just be screwy.
I'll be sure to post up my thoughts after I give it a go. :] .
Just as a general fyi to anyone if you get similar errors as InfectionFiles, try this!

Loads of passability issues when you are drunk. I was walking through the wall in the bathroom. And after you meet Athesis Paper. I can walk on top of everything! Including the characters.
Ick, yeah. That's a tough bug to crack. The easiest fix you can do is press enter in front of a door. It'll animate and will toggle phasing mode on/off and should fix it. This problem seems to only exist in Raanan Village (I hope anyway)
I think it has to do with hitting the shift key when you're drunk and walking through a door. I'll find a way to fix this and implement it in the next update.

edit: i'm up to the part in hiram when i'm about to go into the pub and i get an error saying 'the file 'dancers' cannot be opened' (or something along those lines)

Oh no, you're kidding. :( I'll fix that and get a new version out asap! There's a few other typos/bugs that were brought up that I've fixed anyway.

Btw ankylo. I believe I fixed this in the 1.01 update. Normally, all animating doors have a Run key toggle, but the Raanan Village Inn door did not if you were drunk. I think that was the source of the passibility issues.
