Some of you have heard even me say before the balancing in my game is totally out of whack. Well, after some serious sit down time with my game I've managed to balance the characters and enemy's out MUCH BETTER making the game in my opinion much more fun to play, here is a before and after example of what I'm talking about here.
BEFORE -
Miguel
Level 5
HP - 1220
MP - 800
Damage Dealt Per Hit - 600 - 800
Damage Received Per Hit - 300
AFTER -
Miguel
Level 5
HP - 60
MP - 20
Damage Dealt Per Hit - 10
Damage Received Per Hit - 8 - 12
See? Much better right? Well for now at least, I will continue to work on it more and more until I get it down to a science but for now I can say I'm much more happier with it.
Further Updates
Work on two new levels is complete!
1. The Village of Fairhaven - This will be a halfway point between Alkemia and Edery, Miguel is still trying to reach his sister but will have to rest in this Village. He soon realizes that the seemingly happy little Village is not happy at all and decides to stay and help.
2. The Mountains of Lothian - Work on the maps for this level is complete, now I'm trying to fit in some puzzles and a boss battle. This is the area that connects Fairhaven with Edery.
author=undefined Impressive work, Everguard! I apologize for not being able to get you those testing results yet. I've been very busy. I'll try to finish by Wednesday.
Huh??? Everguard? I think you might have posted to the wrong blog?
author=undefined Thank you!!! This is really impressive, and I'm so glad you decided to go ahead and fix the huge difference in enemy and character HP.
Thanks, yeah it's something that really bugged me for a while so I decided to do something about it.
