I don't think the those small grass spots look good on the dirt path. However, it's a good job!
The mapping is quite incredible. The shape of the road is very organic and the choice of tree and grass placement is quite remarkable. I also like the tension created by the reds of the character's outfit versus the greens of the map.

That being said, I don't know how to feel about the repeating fallen logs. The repetition in the trees is subtle because the greens blend together very nicely. The logs, however, stand out due to the high contrast created between the color of the log versus the green of the map. This makes it glaringly obvious that they are, in fact the same log.

I agree. It would look better if there were less logs and maybe if they appeared to be covered in moss or something, but I guess your just using what's in the chipset. Small edits go a long way. Why are so many dead logs in such a lush forest? It might be more believable if the only logs were around the campfire.
