Very cool.
Though I would suggest having that little path not reach the head of the goddess like that, reach lower, and just pan the screen up. Like I did here. They way you made it, looks like the path is on top of the goddess... like she's under the water, or something.

The character sits JUST above the speech-box line - but with several scrolling items and her faxing in and out in-game it's hard to bring across the same effect for a static screen :)
