New Years Resolution

Hi :)

Well, one of my NYR's for this year is to complete re-writing and editing the book for this game, which also means I'll be working on the game at the same pace. I plan to have the game completed by at least Mid-Fall or Early Winter (aka Sometime before the end of the world :P).

I'll also be putting an updated game manual as a page. It will include an up-to-date walkthrough and appendix.

New Demo Ahoy!

Hey, I've just submitted another demo of the game. It has had a good overhaul of music and some graphics, and even a few more scripts! Read the packaged manual to see what new additions have been added. Remember as always: if you encounter any bugs/crashes/gameplay errors, contact me immediately.

I have gone through it a couple times and haven't found anything, but you always need a second opinion :). The demo should be anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour long, depending on how much time you spend on the short puzzles or whatnot :P.

It's Been WAY Too Long!

Okay, well, I've been having a hard time keeping up lately, what with IRL stuff and other, more important things... but I haven't quit on the game. I've recently been revising and re-editing the typed version of the book, and once i get a good bit done, I will continue work on the game itself.

Now, I know the demo that IS up has you playing with all 4 characters at the beginning, and that was an accident. I'll have a fixed one up when I continue working. But for the time being, I will take it down, look over what I've done and try my best to extend the play time and quality. With the revisions I added into the book, I noticed that will have to change and edit the dialogue a LOT.

The next demo that comes out will have more changes like new sprites, different enemy battlers and such, and if anyone is willing, I could use some help in that department. I noticed that I'm using too many resources that aren't mine, but during the course of production, that will change. I want to turn this into a game that people will want to play, not just a side project I do in my spare time.

Any help with anything at all would be greatly appreciated. :)

Get Ready For a Total Makeover!

Seeing as how my RM'ing skill have no doubt increase, plus seeing all the other work thats been done, Ive decided to give this game an entire rehaul. That means redoing everything in it so far: maps, story, events, etc. So when Im not working on my PE remake, Ill be giving this a brand new style.

A couple reasons why Im doing this: ive found multiple errors, all the dialogue seems a little faded and boring, the maps (by comparison) are horrible, and I want to find new ways to go with this.

I'm not dead, just very slow

Sorry there haven't been any new updated versions of the game, Ive been busy with all sorts of stuff, which includes computer crashes and recoveries. I really haven't felt up to writing anymore because of school and all the stuff I gotta do with that.

But I will try to have something up this month, whether it be another couple of chapters or some more added into the game, but there will be something. Hopefully soon...

Hold on Production

Until the next semester starts back up in January, I won't be posting anymore demos. I'm trying to keep the book and the game at the same point storywise as not to give any spoilers.

I will finally get Micrsoft Word on my pc and I will try to start back up re-writing it, and by the time I get to a good point, production will start back up.

Maker Change

Ive been thinking...
I should probably change the maker I'm using b/c ive gotten replies of the graphics clashing and seeming weird when used together. I think a new maker would be the best thing for this game, even though it means ill have to start over, but its worth it.

Give Credit where Credit is due.

For some of the Charsets, BattleCharsets, etc. i used that weren't in the RTP, i want to give credit to the makers, but I don't know their names, so if the set makers wander up here, credit to ya.
