Dream or Nightmare

It is with great sorrow that I announce the cancellation of WODCTY. Yes, I said a while back that the game wouldn'tbe cancelled but life happens and all of a sudden time escapes your every grasp. I will add the last of the 2 demos soon. Sorry to every subscriber/anticipator. Ljink just can't keep up. Thank you all for showing such enthusiasm and care. But this experience is bitter sweet. The game is gone but that doesn't mean non-existant. I'll find time if it shows to work on it. In place of this I am working on another. The only current project is Dragon Quest + so check it out if you have time. Once again sorry, if I could just ... buy... time oh if only I could buy time... Inspiration! Thanks, I've got an idea. Cheerio!

Don't Freak, I'm just taking a break.

Yes, I'm putting this game on hold because I need time to do regular things like watching Dragon Ball and drawing but that doesn't mean I still won't be working a bit on it. I'll just be working on it less. In addition to that, I'm putting up a well remade version of Dragon Warrior so I can clear my mind and know how to put together a game efficiently. I wonder how actual game programmers feel sometimes... don't worry the project shall continue but only after a brief remission.

Yeah, as I mentioned the game is going rather slow. The only thing slowing me down is monster stats and monster attacks. If anybody is interested in joining the 1-man team please contact me. It'd be greatly appreciated.

Progress Report

Progress Is ummm... very slow.

So today is the first day dedicated to the game. The past few weeks have been spent doing hours of homework from Ms. HALE! Oh, and watching about 5 episodes of the original Dragonball every day. That show had me hooked. Anyway, I plan to not release another demo until the game is finished. I'll upload some videos in place of the demos.

I just wish to inform anybody who's been watching this project that an enhanced demo is available. I fixed alot of problems that were sent to me by email. Have at it. Please send me anything that is wrong. I don't want to send out a finalized game with problems although it happens.

Where Only Dreams Can Take You Upload Info

Since this website has a ban on how large your file has to be I will be uploading a very low quality mp3 game file(I simply do not like midi files.) For those who want to experience the full sound experience I will upload a file on sendspace and display the link. The high quality demo is about 180Mb. If you can't afford the space on your hard drive try a flash drive. 180Mb is nothing on a flash drive. Please be patient for this demo. The demo is nearly finished I mean SOOOO Close.

For those who care I'm at the final part of the demo, everything else is fine in the demo I just have to finish the ending of the demo. I was originally going to release one on Christmas Eve or today but that's just unreal. You're looking at the 29th or 30th if that. I just had to do so much. There will be no real title screen yet, I'm working on it.

Where Only Dreams Can Take You Testers/Group Members

Hey this is Ljink! I sorta promised a Demo around Christmas but the way things are looking, I can't do it alone. My brother can't help me so I'm left with you guys(Which is a good thing.) Ya see, it would be nice to have testers of the game early so I could improve by the release. Those of you who would be interested in becoming a member I will probably need you after the release of the Demo. That is if the demo is buggy. So nothing as of now will be written in blood until probably January. I'll let you all know if the situation has changed since then. So this is really for testers only at this moment.
