That's a nice looking world map!
Every time I see this on the 'random screens', it always catches my eye like I've seen it for the first time.
It's just the default RPG Maker 2 (SNES) world map tiles, but what you've done with them goes far beyond what ASCII (now Enterbrain) did with them back in the day. Good work!
My thing about world maps this small is that it makes it feel weird traversing it like it's "Earth."
A lot of world maps always make me feel like I'm traveling on Pluto because of the smallness of it. Don't get me wrong, I love the map, it's very beautiful, it's just I have OBWMC (obsessive giant world map compulsion, if the term exists.)
I had to reduce the sizes of the world maps because there's two worlds and if you had to walk from one place to another on a giant world map you'd never get anywhere. Also - I find there's really no use having a large world map when there are no monster encounters of any sort.
That makes sence. Sorry if I sounded critical, I really do love the map.
Besides, they may very well be on a pluto-sized planet with a higher gravity power to radius ratio to match Earhtlike gravity

Oh yeah this world map is one of the best RPG Maker world maps ever, and if you understand the things I usually say this is like receiving a golden award.
