The BoR demo is up and ready for people to try! I feel so excited~ ^o^ After going over and play testing this I have to say it has a better feel to it than what I began with. It's gone over a tremendous make over, and it just..makes me feel proud! :o
So allow me to just send out a great deal of thanks to everyone who finds this project interesting, and have fun playing it!
Woohoo!!

I gave the demo a try and thought that the menus are pretty well done (reminiscent of Enelysion). Since Maris had Max Cataracts, most of the battles (except bosses) were very easy and for the most part, required me to do Double Slash spamming. The only fight that presented me some trouble was the one the two enemies holding Maralithe hostage since they tried to poison me repeatedly and I ran out of antidote (the only type of item I needed to use during the demo). Thankfully, you didn't allow for death occurring from poisoning (my HP stayed at 1), which allowed me to get the final hit. Maralithe was basically useless in battle except for the final fight of the battle, where spamming her Aqui was necessary to survive the battle. Also, I was wondering if you were supposed to find a way to open a certain chest during the demo ...
Also, I should note two game crashes that happened to me when a couple of SE files where missing: 110-Heal06 (when casting Aqui) and 127-Water02 (effect when final boss appears). I renamed the Heal6 and 128-Water03 to get around these issues.
It's hard to judge how your game will play out given that your demo is quite limited in length (to reveal much in terms of character development and plot, for example) and misses quite a few features of the actual game. I did like the encounter gauge, which I have seen in very few RPGmaker games (I recall Sacred Earth Bonds, in particular), but noticed in some parts of the sewers, it seemed to fill very quickly compared to the rest. Anyway, thanks for showing us something (even if it's a WIP) and I look forward to the next demo!

Thanks for letting me know what you thought about it! About the SE's, lol I did a "large" removal so I must've forgotten about those. :o
The fight with the two cult followers I admit "is" pretty difficult I'll need to rework it, maybe include a antitoxin amulet somewhere. :) The chest you're wondering about includes a mimic that has the key on it which is near the control room. xD
The next demo, will include alot more in it so I'll post up something concerning its info in the V1 Demo page. :) Thanks for playing! ^o^

You're welcome. Regarding opening the chest, I meant if you can find the key for the 'gold' one not the one from the red mimic ... :)
author=edchuyAh! That chest is actually for when you're able to return to previous locations via The Base's "Piston Engine" lol, so you won't find it til quite a bit farther into the game which isn't ready yet. There will be plenty of more locked chests like that meaning a variety of different keys~ :)

That chest is meant to serve as a placeholder of sorts, sorry for the misunderstanding there! ^o^
