Shout out to our support team at Microsoft

Thanks a ton to our support team at Microsoft and Nokia for hooking us up with Lumia 800 and Lumia 920 smartphones as test devices! That removes one of the biggest hurdles we have to overcome in getting the game up and running on Windows Phone.

Getting your game on Windows Phone is a good idea, since Blackberry is a dying phone OS. So it provides a good third alternative for smartphones.
Does Microsoft do that, or do you just have contacts on the inside?

Jokes aside: Congrats on that. Even though I'm gonna play the games on Android and maybe Windows 7 as well, it's nice to see that you are supporting several platforms.

And now for a question from a programmer, how much time is spent on writing "the generic" Metis code and how much is spent on platform-specific code

Most of the time was spent on the generic Metis code. Before starting, I spent a very, very long time architecting it and doing research to find the most portable solution to the problems we would face to ensure there would be few headaches with porting to other platforms. Most of the time spent on other platforms is diagnosing obscure features that just don't work the way they're supposed to.
