This is the most...peculiar sight I've seen in a while. I like the look of "evening river".

I quite like what you're trying to do here.
What I recommend is adding a few waves/ripples here and there. Otherwise it looks like a sky island- on the first glance.
Also some of those cliffs are a tad weird.

it all moves and stuff, so you will be able to see the illusion much easier in game. And yes, Im aware of the funky cliffs. gonna fix it dont worry.

I can't help but think the centralised rock will be used for some kind of plot purpose. Can't wait to see this in motion!
