How do you actually open the game? I just get asked what file I want to open it with?

You should be able to just open it with the little drag icon in the folder but I'm not sure if you don't have a trial or full version...

I can open VX Ace project as game only even though I have only the RTP so like whitedahlia says use the red dragon icon to launch the game.
