Kaboooooom (everything explodes!)

Good day!
Today is the day in which we play a day in the life of... drum roll... Michael Bay!
Michael Bay The Game is an Rpgmaker2003 game by MB (Michael Bay??) originally released in 2009 and re-released in 2012, in which we'll play as the popular Michael Benjamin Bay, american film director and producer with a certain penchant for explosions. Oh and if you want to play this remember to check if you have the rm2k3 RTPs, because these aren't included!

Anyway this is a day in his life, and not one of his movies, so expect no action battles or huge robots, even if the music of Transformers will be present through all his very short game. And trust me, it fits extremely well, considering the protagonist!
Now, as I've written the game is extremely short, took me exactly four minutes, and takes places into exactly SEVEN maps, and some are used for cutscenes only. And, as you can expect, there is not a lot to do, except watching, reading and moving Micheal Bay on a couple of maps with few extra meaningless interactions.

Ok, this place that reminds to me the Spencer mansion from Resident Evil, is where the final (and only) confrontation will take place!

Well, I must say that if music is good, maps and graphics aren't bad either! Ok, these are the classical rpgmaker resourcers and some rips (no facesets) from different sources that you may have seen elsewhere (for example Micheal is a Romancing Saga 3 edit, I do not know if it was made by the author), but the final result is surprisingly good, I mean assets are well used and also well selected. This is not one of those comedic games with mismatched graphics!
BUT this is one of these comedic games with mapping errors! Sadly there are lots of walls or items where MB can walk, and a floor tile that instead is an obstacle! WHAT A PITY! I mean, as long as you watch the (funny) cutscenes and read the dialogues this looks like a perfect (well no, but close enough) game, but when you get to walk around... siiigh!

That's sad, I mean there are some really cool ideas, like the MB decorated floor of MB's home, the scene with the car speeding through the city, the plot... I mean this could have been a hilarious parody game if only it was a bit longer, had some more interactions and locations and... well story!

Final Verdict
Well it's impossible to rate this game, but if we consider it a demo, it's intriguing and interesting. It has no bad parts or game breaking bugs, but there is almost no game too, and it's a pity since it looks like the developer had the idea and the skills but later changed his made and nah... decided it wasn't worth of it. Ok, this is my perception, I mean that with Micheal Bay, Transformers, Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox it was possible to do a LOT of funny scenes, and while this game has some fun, in the end I was left waiting for more. This game could be a great introduction to a bigger story and parody, in my opinion, this instead is just a sketch, a situation. Pity, for this and the little imprecisions! Otherwise, there is nothing much to say.
