This is just a game i wanted to share with the community. This was not created by me. It was created by my relatives, JerryRPGer and Ripken, though some others helped. I'm posting this because I just wanted to see how their game is viewed, and I do have their permission to post it. I recommend reading the README file in the download. This game was finished in 2010, but there are still many bugs. Some of the bugs can not be fixed due to the engine, and some are just there due to not being found (usually minor bugs). Personally I haven't beat it yet, due to it taking 30-50 hours to beat. Haha.
To play, RPGMAKER XP RTP is needed.
Story
Dragon Saga V's storyline takes place about a year and a half after Dragon Saga IV. There are many returning characters and some new ones as well. The story opens
up with the transferring of a prisoner. However, the prisoner escapes, thanks to an unusual circumstance. Soon enough the prisoner, now a fugitive, realizes that
he is caught up in a world of chaos, overloads, corruption, greed and oppression, but he had already made a promise to an old acquaintance to deliver a shocking truth to the leaders of his captures. There will be new discoveries, friends, foes, love, hatred and most important, many stories to uncover in Dragon Saga V: One Sent Worth.
Background
The prequel, Dragon Saga IV, was created on RPG Maker 2K and was released back in
the early 2000s. Dragon Saga V came into fruition some time in 2007. With the newest RPG Maker coming out at that time, RPG Maker XP, the YangRPG team decided to start working on the next Dragon Saga game. The latest edition of Dragon Saga was completed in 2010.
Here are some Pros and Cons to Dragon Saga V.
Pros
- War Battles
- Weapon Shard Upgrade System
- Item Trading
- Battle Stats Award System
- Story Select System
- ATB system
- over 80+ characters (some are pretty useless)
- 40+ hours (30 hours if you decide to rush)
- 30 floor deep dungeon (collect random items)
Cons
- Battle animations need more work
- Long battles (not many random battles though)
- Slow start (game really begins about 5 hours in)
- Battle system needs a tutorial
- A lot of RTP Graphics
- Music comes from a lot of Commercial RPG video games

Closewow i finally finished the game after about 41 hours of game play !
but why did it has to end like that :( i cried in the end thou
is there a many endings for this game or is it just one cuz i dont think its just one
{ spoiler } the ending i reached was >> { spoiler }
when i fight that evil old woman i dont remember her name and then she dies and they all get into the ship exept mai and few others ... pleas tell me what r the other endings and what should i have dont to get them

I just managed to beat the game after close to 50 hrs of gameplay (there was an optional dungeon I didn't attempt to get through). Seems to me there's only one unique ending although you get the feeling that's not the end of the story. I'll be posting a review in the next few days.

There is only one ending to the game and I hope you did enjoy the ending of the game.

As for the optional dungeon, it's only if you want to keep on playing and trying out new things if you haven't found out yet.

may i just say nice that you have 5 games in one series but can you tell me if i can find 1 to 4 since a series i would like to try all 5.
