I need to decide which type of weapon the character Ukyo, the Ninja, will have. He can use a two handed attack or shurikens. No, he can't have both due to some script incompatibility issues, so, I have to choose between one or other.

This is Ukyo's dual attack, he does that slash through the enemy and then slashes it again from behind. Pretty cool animated.


This is Ukyo throwing shurikens; somewhat basic but also pretty cool animated. Also, I can change the shuriken icon too, so, Ukyo can throw any kind of things. That's really cool.


I really wanted to put both attacks, but I'll not be able to. I can't decide which one to set to him. So, I want you to help me to decide it. Tell me, which type of attack Ukyo must have?

I think dual attack are better for a ninja. Maybe you could make the shuriken a skill and the dual attack the basic attack.

I tried to do that but the script does not allow to throw a weapon different from the one you're equipped. If I do that, Ukyo keeps throwing the knifes instead of a shuriken. Also, as a dual handed character, he'll throw the first dagger and then moves to the enemy and strike the second. Pretty annoying issue.

How about a throwing item? Like a scroll but with the shuriken. The only problem is that anyone could throw the shuriken.

Indeed. Anyone can throw a item. Until I don't figure out how to do it, I need to decide which one to use.

I say dual too, but there has to be a way to work the shuriken throw in there.
