This is a short collection of Ghost House levels made in SMBX.

Every year at Halloween, the forces of good mysteriously start to weaken, and the wizard Kamek appears to wreak havoc! As usual, it falls to Mario to journey to Kamek's haunted manor and put an end to him once and for all. But this time, Mario has an axe to grind.

Join Mario on his quest through Kamek's spine-tingling mansion in this third entry in RMN's annual Mario's Mansion series!

-15 levels of classic Mario style levels!
-New power-ups! Use the Stopwatch to freeze your foes in place, or track down the Magic Axe to become the mighty Axe Mario.

To play this game:
1. Download SMBX (if you don't already have it installed).
2. Download the Mario's Mansion 3 game from this gameprofile.
3. Copy the zip file to the SMBX worlds folder.
4. Unzip the game to that folder.
5. Start SMBX and click Start Game.
6. Select 1 Player and then select Mario's Mansion 3 from the list.

My weekend has suddenly gotten a lot more interesting now. *downloads with excitement*

Congrats on finishing this, guys. I know this isn’t going to be in the same ballpark as the mighty Super RMN World (although you just never know), but this should still end up being just as good.
Well – I finished the game last night (and submitted a review, too)!

What I expected; this game isn’t in the same league as Super RMN World, but it’s understandable considering the length of time that game had to get worked compared to this one. Overall, I enjoyed playing it but found that the difficulty curve seem to sway all over the place at times. Some levels were really short and easy and others were ball-bustlingly hard (ouch), not to mention the lack of any extra lives and power-up’s.

Anyway, whatever, that’s the review’s for.

BTW, nin8halos...

What’s with this “keyhole” doing here? Is it a secret? I tried looking around for a key but couldn’t find one in this level. So is it just there for shits and giggles? Or is there something more to this that I'm missing...

The 524 is for 524 Stone Crabs

Some of us put keyholes in our levels as part of a secret exit.

... Question is I don't know if we actually followed through on that idea or not.
That was the only one I found on my playthrough.

So you’re telling me there’s more?

Sure.

Do I just drag it into the "worlds" folder like the previous?

Naw, you'd have to play it in the Edit mode.
I made that level back when keyholes were going to be a thing in this game. Then I got lazy and didn't fix anything.
There's a Terraria world file
Why is there a terraria world file?

It's not a terraria world file
Why would there be a terraria world file?

It's possible for 2 programs to use the same file extension.
Figured, better not screw up SMBX...
Yeah, Terraria uses world files so now every world file in SMBX has terrarias stamp on the cover...

Well, mystery solved, then.
