Well, I found some other minor bugs in this episode. I found out that you can acquire an infinite supply of Deborah's Prickly Mittens. Or at least the way the text is written makes me think this was a mistake.

A definite mistake is the fact that if you talk to Leeland after the Gojulas has arrived it will cause the game to repeat the cut scene for when you tried to initially join the Vanguard. Thankfully, this issue doesn't reset any of the flags on the areas you can enter. So, it's possible to witness this cut-scene and then head back to the captain of the invading army with little incident.
